Finally a project with great potentials!!  +5% +5%

Can someone give us some estimations?

1) When the tokens will be tradable (low, mid, high) scenarios

2) When a GUI with some games will be available (low, mid, high) scenarios

Thanks!

@BunkerChain Labs can I please have your estimations for the above?

General Discussion / Re: Working on BitShares..
« on: April 27, 2016, 05:42:53 pm »
The problem is I think that bytemaster doesn't believe much in his original goal (or at least it is not well communicated to the rest of us)

This is unfortunately my perception as well.

I have  Z E R O  doubt bytemaster fully believes in his original vision for what BitShares should become. The problem may well be in his ability to communicate that vision effectively to the masses, but that's a marketing function, not that of a technical guru.

The problem in a nutshell isn't that BM has lost his passion for BitShares, it's that "BitShares" has lost its dedication to the mission. So as Stan says BM is simply looking for another way to fund his passion, and my hats off to him for the way in which he is doing that.

I think BM communicates very well like a marketing guru when "he wants to"! In the past his videos, tutorials and interviews of what bitshares does were very well communicated.  The best video explaining what bitshares is was the very first one of 2 years ago..

And I don't understand how "bitshares has lost its dedication to the mission". Most of the accounts trading in our DEX belong to small shareholders, hence no liquidity. The whales are just trading in polo and btc38..That means to me that bitshares whales have lost or never had any real vision of bitshares in the first place..anyway...

It is a bit more complicated than that I think because I trust bytemaster and his intentions, I disagree a lot with the way he handles things and communicates his intentions to the community, I should have learned from past experiences with AGS/PTS/DNS/BTS1/BTS2 as you mention but I still believe a lot in the BTS fundamentals and what bts tries to achieve in this world..

The problem is I think that bytemaster doesn't believe much in his original goal (or at least it is not well communicated to the rest of us) but other than that bts2 is a much better functional product than bts1 and its market cap is 10 times lower from what it was for some period. So irrespective of what BM does, this project is still way undervalued i think..

I just hope (and I may die before my hope comes true) we will be able to have some "true" money and decentralized choices of holding our wealth vs. current "fiat" money which is pure air..For this to happen bts needs some serious investors and some serious market cap (above $1 bil)..until then just grap some pop corns and hope competition doesn't catch up..

The only thing that worries me is that I didn't sell any bts when it was pumped in March so I can buy back these cheap shares again now.. so I am a bit sad again.. and I am a bit annoyed that some people here pump the price, sell high and dump hard to the rest of us the bag holders.. but I guess that is normal in crypto..

My blind trust in bitshares is also hurt..I feel I have been fooled many times in the last 3 years by people's decisions, false promises, pumps and then huge endless dumps..I don't see the light in the end of the tunnel anymore so clearly..

Hi Ronny,

I have sent you numerous emails about the refund or even better a replacement for the nanocard with the new card from coinsbank. Any news please?

General Discussion / Re: Should BTS end merger vesting BTS early?

I will try to keep my self cool with this thread and will try not to start saying bad words...But what a f..k are you guys smoking?? Do you really want to change again something that was agreed?? I can't believe that you guys are even discussing this..let the vesting finish and let's move on...

I haven't followed Lisk at all but if I remember correctly there are 100 mil Lisk and they raised $5 mil correct? So essentially the ICO price is $0.05 per list or 1Lisk = 10 BTS. I see on OL orders for 1 Lisk = c600 BTS so probably I misunderstand something here...

General Discussion / Fitness DAC within bitshares
« on: March 27, 2016, 03:13:09 pm »
I was wondering..and this just came to my mind so ....

Is it possible to make a small fancy device like a bracelet or even monitoring this via a mobile?

The idea is for every 1km one person makes which is monitored by his mobile, or bitshares bracelet he is rewarded with i,e 5bts.

The average person I would guess  makes 2-4km per day i.e. he would earn 10-20 bts per day i.e. 3,650 - 7,300 bts per year just to walk / run and  monitoring this via his device. The device or the service can have a cost of $50 so essentially after 1 year the person will be getting back his $50 investment just by monitoring his exercise.

I think that something like that could be a huge marketing for bitshares! "Earn bitshares by doing exercise" etc..

The question is what happens after the $50 worth of bitshares are taken by the person after 1 yea?
I think that a worker proposal supporting this would be beneficial for bitshares. Essentially you hook people into bitshares ecosystem by doing exercise and get rewarded. The customer pays in advance his $50 dollars worth of bitshares sufficient for  year and the DAC will need to pay the customer $50 per annum just to keep him up using the service. These $50 spent per annum per person per year are I think marketing money well spent.

Thoughts?

General Discussion / Re: Bitshares price discussion
« on: March 21, 2016, 12:40:26 pm »
the price will only go up only and if again some nice whales create $1 mil worth bitassets by locking some collateral and daily volume is more than $4 mil for at least a week.. until then it will just be pumps to $20 mil market cap and dumps to $7 mil market caps..And if these nice whales don't create those $1 mil bitassets then eventually bitshares will be dumped to zero..I am sad.. :(

General Discussion / Re: BTC/BitBTC bridge?
« on: March 19, 2016, 05:52:05 pm »
Unfortunately I agree with Karnal here...I believe that if there is no action in bitbtc then bitshares eventually will be worthless. The most important that bitshares has to offer are the bitassets and yet apparently most people prefer the IOU assets. bitbtc and bitgold should be the most important bitassets in our blockchain. More important than bitusd or bitcny or anything else.

for what is worth i think rep are way overvalued now. and i think that in terms of prediction market gnosis will be a good competitor https://groupgnosis.com/

but  I may just be biased because I like the word "gnosis" which is a Greek word for "knowledge"  :)
