@kenCode probably this has been answered already...Buying OPENPOS token is what? a donation to the project or there is a business plan whereby OpenPOS holders earn future revenue from the transactions? If there is a business plan can you elaborate more?
thanks

@tonyk I really hope that you don't leave us anytime soon. For what is worth I find your criticism on the spot most of the times..Some times you over do it but it is understandable...
Remember that you are not the only one losing lots of money with bts though..Lots of people lost everything the last couple of years with bts including my self..
However I still have a lot of faith on the project. The tech has potential and bts doesn't deserve to be where it is now..So my advice is keep the faith..Better days will come..I hope..

Of course comments from @bytemaster "I confess to selling from ANGEL today to cover some expenses.   Unfortunately, I sold just prior to the big pump :(  " do not help keep the faith...I mean for the love of god mate...What pump are you talking about?? from $7 mil to $10 mil? Seriously?? I thought that we believed as a community that bts should be valued above $50 mil at least..It should be valued above DOGE or Dash at least.. And then the core dev says things like that I am asking and asking my self why on earth I still believe in bts, why not sell everything take my losses like a man and move away from this community forever...

Thank you very much @abit

Do I understand correctly that in case of margin call the max premium over the feed price is 10% ?

@xeroc fair enough...I am aware of all that... I will ask again...

What is the "close position" and "update position" difference?

If no one is selling the bitasset I need to cover can I reduce my collateral ratio to zero and get margin called? What premium will I pay over the feed price if I do that?

I am sure that there is a better option to cover a bitbtc or bitusd position without paying 40% premium and I am not aware of it..

@xeroc and @bytemaster I am aware of the risks of getting short in our DEX. I am not sure I am aware of the correct options available if I want to cover my debt by paying the less premium. So my OP questions still hold unanswered...

I just need (and I am sure I am not the only one here) some more clarity on the mechanics.. Answers like "there is a button "close position" or " you will be able to exit at the right price" are not complete ..I know you guys are busy and appreciate your time. But throwing some light will increase trading and hence liquidity..Otherwise I can also find the easy solution like everyone else and trade in Polo...

At the right price you will be able to exit.

lol.. So you mean that if I want to cover my debt I will have to pay the premiums on the order book because of lack of liquidity right?

so for example I see that the best offer on the bitbtc now is 150,000 and the btc trades currently @ 105,000 so effectively I have to pay c40% premium if I want to repay my bitbtc debt correct? And there is no other way I can cover my debt by i.e press "close position" or reduce my collateral ratio so I get margin called and pay less than that premium?

account overview page ..
there is a button next to your debt position that states "CLOSE POSTITION"

last time I checked when I press "close position" i get an error message saying that the position can't be closed since I don't own the bitasset. Hence I have to buy first the bitasset from the order book which have orders with huge premiums most of the times. So in effect close position and update position is the exact same thing. I have to buy the bitasset paying the premiums..Therefore no point in trading in the DEX if I can't cover my debt anytime I want..

What am I missing here? Have you actually tried to trade in the DEX or you guys assume it does things when it doesn't?

How can someone cover his debt if there are no sell orders at reasonable premium?

What is the "close position" and "update position" difference?

If no one is selling the bitasset I need to cover can I reduce my collateral ratio to zero and get margin called? What premium will I pay over the feed price if I do that?

@ccedk
This is great news.  Congrats, Ronny!  +5% +5% +5%

Can the nanocard that we have purchased a long time ago be activated as well now?

What is the estimation of time that one could send EUR to CCEDK, convert these automatically in biteur transfered to OL and then use the nanocard to convert automatically the biteur from OL to euro and withdraw from an ATM or pay something via a POS?

@fuzzy thank you. I will send you 2,000 later today.

Regarding the list I would like also Andreas Antonopoulos.

He has done an extremely good job helping Bitcoin in many ways,

however he is too bitcoin centric, everything other than bitcoin isn't good for him. He sees bitcoin in a pedestal and doesn't accept the idea of any other cryptos. At least that's my opinion of what I've seen of him. It's either bitcoin or nothing.

@Akado that is why it would be interesting to have him in a hangout. It would be a debate. There is no purpose doing hangouts with external parties that agree that bitshares is better than bitcoin. We should want to have debates with bitcoin enthusiasts and convince them why bitshares is better.

@fuzzy just to let you know that if you have sent me any copper or silvercoin nothing has gone through.

I think inviting Mike Hearn for a hangout is a very good idea!

@fuzzy . People donating bts will receive copper and silver tickets from you, but are you going to keep those bts donations for yourself or those bts will be given to Mike Hearn for accepting an interview?

Edit:

@fuzzy sorry just read the OP again and clearly those bts will be given to Mike. What if he never responds to emails and he doesn't accept the invitation? Should I assume that you will keep those bts for the future for inviting someone else special?
