General Discussion / Re: Crypto-equity magazine?

You haven't been on in a while :)

I'm here literally every single day. Just mostly lurking. Haven't signed in for a while cause I haven't wanted to comment until now, but I'm still just as excited about BTS as I am BTC, and still buying up those cheap AGS.

General Discussion / Re: BTS-->BTS X-->BTS ME-->BTS YOU-->BTS HIM-->?

Is this the Roadmap of 3I development group?

BTS X was a compromise over BTS, BTS ME is a compromise over BTS X, what's next? Can you just make something working?

So far, it seems the only working product of 3I is PTS, which is technically no different from other thousands of altcoins.

Keyhotee has been advertised a long time, but neither of the basic two functions, decentralized communication and wallet, is realized.

BTS has been delayed many times, before BTS ME is introduced.

I now really doubt the development ability of 3I, because I've never heard any successful company that CEO and key developer are the same person.

I was a fun of 3I, now I am considering to quit.

As Toast has reported, the code is essentially developed but the community has given great feedback about issues requiring more testing.  It would be foolish to launch all features at once without careful testing.  We must protect investors money.

I would never launch a new aircraft without lots of high-speed taxi testing on the ground before a short and very careful test flight over an unpopulated test range wearing two parachutes.   :)

You get to watch the tests incrementally this spring and evaluate our progress in a controlled environment.
In the meantime, we release the fruits of our work so far in tangible, useful form.  Other products you can trade, test, and experiment.

This will continue.  This is what we do.  Those who understand what it takes to bootstrap an entire industry will appreciate and approve.

And this month we will make XTS liquid, so that those who are impatient will have a fair option to stay or go, as they choose.

Meanwhile, the Newsletter we are finalizing will lay out the complete roadmap for the coming quarter.  We are very excited about it.

 :)

you are right on every aspect you are considering , but how would you explain this .. After changing almost every clause from the original PTS launch, you made BTS 50/50 for AGS and PTS { unfavorable, for everyone, read miners } , made BTS 100% premine { artificial scarcity } , AND decided to take Snapshot on Feb 28 , without a working wallet, { apparently, without any new working software } and without letting all the PTS  minned ,  claiming : earlier is better { the only early thing was announcement , wasn't it? } , taking snapshot is tough { that explains how great a programmer you are ... }, cool isn't it ? it sounds more like, you trying to make a scam materialize into something that may worth it ...

You don't understand what you are talking about..... We all get a better deal because of the pts ags change......it's not "premined", in fact not "mined" at all which makes total sense cause ags represent contributions to an incubator fund. You post history and attitude make me question your motives.

I'm thinking we are going to need a magazine or free crypto-equity news paper which can be handed out to commuters or left in places like doctors offices and banks.

The concept of a DAC has to be explained and it's not reaching many people.

I would be very interested in contributing content/artwork + any other services I could offer.

I went to art school and have now moved on to proper Uni to study econ/business. I have prior experience writing for a grass roots political organization out of seattle WA called WA bus. I also have been a member of this community since the kick off last november and I am admittedly obsessed with the crypto 2.0 space.

The idea of contributing to a project like this seems like a great/fun way to further the community. It also seems a little more realistic for me then contributing dev time to 3I as I have only recently begun to attempt to teach myself C.

Ah, right, you could just change the song a tiny bit and it'll have a different fingerprint. I think "ninjaing" is a more appropriate term than "pirating" for the new paradigm.

Maybe you could gamify finding duplicate songs and punish the people who ninja songs?

I think what he's saying is what is to stop me from claiming to be lady gaga and selling share's in "my" new song?

Keyhotee / Re: Keyhotee Status Update
« on: February 28, 2014, 05:23:37 am »
I have a strange question.

I downloaded the MAC client back when it was available. I registered an ID but Keyhotee said I wasn't connected to the network. I also tried to get a message using my pub key but I never received it. Keyhotee then just mysteriously disappeared from my computer... gone.... I didn't delete it. I registered that pub key on the founders website, but I am not confident that I even really created an ID in the first place as far as the system is concerned.... what do I do?

This isn't an advertising board. Are you giving pts/ags holders a share?

General Discussion / Re: Bitshares X and ATMs

i also think it would be a good idea to contract low-cost ATM manufacturers to create bitshares ATMs (china or india)

I think someone from the community should do it. Whether from China or where ever it is a lot better if they know what Bitshares is and how it works.

Maybe we could get a pool going and split the profits! pay for it with our new btx in like a month from now!
