That's why we have the little icons/avatars. Even for similar names the icons will be completely different.

And I just made contact with the CEO of marginsoftware.com. They are VERY interested in BitShares in general and intend to implement BitShares aswell! They say great potential

Did this result in something?
yes

try the link yourself and see.

There's no mention of BitShares/OpenLedger on http://marginsoftware.de/index.html

General Discussion / Re: STEEM price discussion

I haven't read much about steem and haven't fully grasped the concept it seems. If it is a social network how can it be the 3.0 / superior model? Isn't BitShares an exchange/bank, etc? It seems it has much more potential in terms of the market it is. Can both even be compared? Isn't it like comparing apples to oranges?

However, team members do not need to vote themselves if they do not want to do so. Proxy voting will be part of this insurance solution although member voting is actively encouraged in the form of a reward. More details on this exact system can be found in the Teambrella whitepaper,

why are startups like this not powered by bitshares?

I would say we don't have enough man power to be on top of this kind of stuff. Plus the fact they have chosen to do with bitcoin means they went for the network effect.

Still, would be nice if a few projects like these went for BitShares.

It's the reasoning for CNX leaving that is dumb... They say there is no money available for development because of the anit-dilution (chinese) crowd.  Yet CNX hasn't even put forth a proposal for anything (MAS, Bonds, Rate Limited Transactions).

This is what I dislike as well.

I guess this would relate to MAS. It does sound interesting the way it works with teams, so you can join a trusted group of people.

how long before the anti dilution crowd sells out?  We need to be able to readily vote in solid worker proposals otherwise we will cease development.

if it's true that Yunbi (an exchange?) is voting against Workers and having their heavy buddies do the same, then let's either A) disable Yunbi in the web wallet, and/or B) do the same thing with CCEDK/OL, Blocktrades and MetaExchange voting FOR the Workers. Fight fire with fire and we will never have to worry about a cheating exchange again. Light'em up! - think Sun Tzu

There is a part of me strongly on this side, but one question is: How to change the rules without being seen as a platform that is too unstable in its own self governance to be built on?

Double standards. Either we make exchanges unable to hold such power or we allow every single one to do so.

"Charts" section has the same description as "Accept cryptocurrencies payments" and redirects to the same link https://coinsbank.com/merchant

Basically "Accept cryptocurrencies payments" is repeating twice instead of having a description and link about "Charts"
