Muse/SoundDAC / Re: Unanswered question thread

Allowing users to get tokens via credit card is a sweet thing. Now the question is, will PeerTracks also give users maximum liquidity with off ramps for withdraw of USD to debit card or checking acct? Let's hope so; that would likely be a huge game-changer...

Fuzzy, your efforts to foster transparency are commendable, but at this juncture I really don't see much benefit to having a MUSE hangout. A thread already exists for people to pose any questions they want to cob for him to answer or to pass along to the right people: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,21185.0.html

If there are some queries that can't be answered right now on the questions thread, then why would cob suddenly be able to answer them on a hangout? Clearly, some aspects of the project are better kept under wraps for the time being for strategic or legal reasons. The only things a hangout would accomplish, IMO, would be to (1) take more time away from getting the MUSE-based platforms ready for launch; and (2) possibly reassure some impatient, nervous nellies that this is not all a scam.

Best to just wait, be patient, and use the question thread. Maybe in a month or two, after details about the platforms built on MUSE are known, a hangout would be useful.

PLAY, however, is a different story... I'd support a hangout with the PLAY developers because I have no clue what's going on there.

As a long-time holder of MUSE/notes and supporter of the project, I'm glad to hear that things are moving along in a positive direction. Thanks and kudos to cob & co. for navigating the rough waters of the past weeks. Brighter days lie ahead, no doubt.

Still not sure how I feel about the new name, though. What do other people think of the name?

Has a name been chosen yet? If not, let me put in another plug for..

fandog

This is hands-down the shortest, best, and most powerful dot com I can think of that could be used for the first product from PeerTracks. Imo, fandog.com could catapult the business huge and is worthy of a primetime website with global scale and reach. At about $12,500 the name may seem pricey, but let's not step over dollar bills to pick up pennies. If the name works, it could be worth every single freakin penny...

From the MUSE Withdrawal page, click on "Manage Address" and create a new address. When creating this new address, try using the same one word with no spaces (i.e., your MUSE account name) for both the Label and MUSE Account fields. You should then be able to withdraw by selecting this address on the withdrawal page.

HotBuzz

MyBuzz

Imho, this one may be about as good as it gets.

It's able to appeal to both sides of the equation--artists who want to monetize and keep track of the buzz about themselves... and fans who want a "buzz" high from listening to and connecting with their favorite celebs. It's short, sweet, powerful, edgy, and memorable. Easy to say, easy to spell. 'Nuff said. Man, I hope Eddie, cob, et al. settle for nothing less than this.

This one fits in well with the whole notion of creating a market for tradeable fame, talent, and attention. Plus, it's got tons of branding possibilities, imo.
