I know the music team is under NDA, bitsapphire is working on peertracks.com and launching the music DAC, the play team is based in China and have a page you can see here. You can view the play repo here: https://github.com/bitsuperlab/bitshares_play

Bitshares Play and Music, Vote (follow my Vote) and DNS (if you will), http://www.tradebts.com, bitsharesblocks.com

Play, Music, Vote & DNS are run by the core developers right?

Play and Music DACs have their own dev teams.

For entrepreneurs, money talks. For users, convenience talks. For investors, returns talk. Everything else is water under the bridge.

I like your perspective.  So for each group, what would be the most compelling strength or misconceptions/obstacles for adoption?

I like this perspective too. There are many ways to tailor the message depending on the demographic you are pitching. Try not to cross the streams too much, it can confuse the message.

IMO one of the biggest obstacles to overcome is reducing the cognitive dissonances of voting i.e. making it easier, more intuitive, less time consuming, etc. I like the ideas luckybit mentioned before about making AI algorithms in the future that could vote similar to how you would vote, automating it. Allow manual overrides of course. Then you could just glance every so often to see if your AI voter is sticking to your voting ideologies.

On that note, everyone vote for dev-pc.bitcube! Bitshares can use all of the active developer delegates it can get.

It.. looks like a women's clothing store  :o
Ha, gentso1 said that was just place holder until the dev puts the actual content in place. The idea is to be able to off ramp with bitSilver by having physical silver drop shipped in exchange for it.

General Discussion / Re: Fiat Gateways

There's a post about it on bytemaster's blog that is a good starting point.

I like the idea, offer a premium feature for business partners to stand out more in the client, increase usability because the exchange is more organized, and generate income for the DAC.

How much should this feature cost? Maybe half the price of a market issued asset? 250000.

BTS is bucking the trend... must be a sign that we are recovering from the effects of the bter hack.

General Discussion / Re: Meetup.com is the BOMB

http://www.meetup.com/bitshares-worldwide/

That "worldwide" page threw me off, first I thought it was located in Amsterdam, then I see a bunch of Michigan people in there so I started thinkin, oh, so, this is a skype or hangouts meetup, ok cool.

It's Michigan Bitsharers only. Unless of course they wanna do a hangouts live....... :)

Haha that could be fun. I think the idea is to make a global landing page for all meetups to funnel through. Detroit meetup is just the first one posted atm. If you have an idea for a local meetup, we can give you permissions  to create an event.

Technical Support / Re: BitShares Client Not Working on MAC + Error Message
« on: February 22, 2015, 11:59:51 pm »
I know for a fact OS X 10.9 and 10.10 work. I think the version you are on is the cutoff for working versions. It would be worthwhile to investigate why the older versions of OS X aren't cutting the mustard though.

I don't think the client supports OS X 10.6.8 or lower. Do you get the same error when using the beta Light Wallet?
