Well we're down to 1 worker and he won't last long as this rate.

The difference only 10M, so I think we can get workers back if community members decide to move BTS from exchanges to DEX.

Fixed  ;)

Actually , I'm expecting to watch the tragedy of STEEM .

In any case you will see tragedy, or for STEEM holders or for STEEM haters.  :)

Anyone looking to have our vote for witness will need to provide a public IP:PORT for a seed node and join #witnesses in steem.slack.com

sorry if I'm late to the party, but how do I get an invite to the slack channel?

Ps. Someone mentioned Lisk as a copy of ETH... As I see it Lisk is talking english (c++ javascript, html), ETH japanise (c). There is always a reason why people contribute that much so feel free not to talk how bad others are, but to talk how good they are..

AFAIK Lisk is talking Vietnamese (node.js) and mostly was developed by Boris Povod as an Crypti. Today Lisk it's a fork of Crypti without any additional yet, but with a huge plans.

I looked into vesting .. the only issue I see here is that they cost $5 per vbo. With well over300 people, that is a bunch of money just to send them out ..
I might draw a threshold line at some number of posts and only give those above that line a VBO .. e.g. the 'big fishes' :)

As an idea, maybe you can distribute them using sharebot, it's useful to distribute for forum members, so everybody will withdraw them by himself.
Let's ask @fuzzy

Hello, I long ago was a big supporter of the protoshare.  I earned quite a bit of them, as well as tested out the BitshareX stuff.  The issue now is ive been so nonexistent and now everything I open when i try and import a wallet says its the wrong password.  has something happened.  or could someone walk me through how to get everything converted over to the new stuff.  Thanks

If you trying to import wallet backup into BitShares 0.9.3c and get "wrong password" error, try to uninstall BitShares 0.9.3c and install BitShares 0.4.27.2, import your backup again and when uninstall BitShares 0.4.27.2 and install BitShares 0.9.3c.
BitShares 0.4.27.2 you can find here: https://github.com/bitshares/bitshares-0.x/releases/tag/bts%2F0.4.27.2

More information about migration your funds into BitShares 2.0 you can find here: http://docs.bitshares.eu/migration/howto-exporting-wallet.html#export-via-the-console

28 апреля на бирже BitShares начнет торговаться DigixDAO (обеспеченный золотом актив в сети Ethereum). Думаю поклонники Ethereum в курсе, что это за актив.

today, openledger announced the possibility to buy LISK before the official start on bitshares, so i think this effort is not needed anymore.

thanks for all members who are willing to give some funds for this.

cheers
shentist

Thanks on taking the initiative and thanks for stepping back after CCEKD made the announcement about LISK pairs...
I think it is on the right direction and for the best interest of BTS holders to NOT split our efforts on identical initiatives...

PS what about AUGUR REP tokens? Only one exchange are trading REPs (and META are going great with metaETHs)
I would contribute a portion of my REPs

Why stepping back? Maybe you can use CCEDK as an escrow, get OPEN.LISK for your ICO coins and start trading at same markets?

Ok, I've got one:  Where did my balances go?

I recently dug up an old wallet from 2015.  It had about $17k BTS in it.  I downloaded two clients: 0.9.3 and the recent 2.0.160406.

In bitshares 0.9.3c, ran: wallet_dump_account_private_key (my_account) private (2x for each of my accounts)
> It outputs the private keys which I copy

I went to the BitShares2 light client and pasted the private key into the Key Import tool.
It finds a valid key, but it says there are no assets.  It imports it and sure enough,  zero balances in both my accounts.

Why is this not working?

You should dump your owner and active keys (2 keys for each account using commands: wallet_dump_account_private_key <accountname> owner_key, wallet_dump_account_private_key <accountname> active_key). If you have vesting balances (after merger) use wallet_export_keys command.

More info you can find here: http://docs.bitshares.eu/migration/howto-exporting-wallet.html#export-via-the-console

Why are so many fund moved from poloniex to btc38 the last days?
(Accounts: poloniexwallet,  btc38-btsx-octo-72722)
https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/account/btc38-btsx-octo-72722/overview/

Arbitrage or something else?

Arbitrage (not only for BTS) because price was different more than 5% from poloniex
