As you can see from my profile, I came here after long break. My question is... what about test bitshares network, which we all agree, that this would be great for demo purpose.
Since you had a long break, perhaps you're now full of energy .. to build a demo network?

If you claimed your funds to an old account (created before 2.0), your funds are safe. Just create a new wallet, and import your keys again.

If you claimed your funds to a new account (created after 2.0), your fund would be lost.

I would support percentage based transfer fees (with a minimum to prevent Spam and a maximum to remain competitive).

I would not support any temporary lowering of fees or any reduction of fees other than moving to percentage based.

We do not want to get in to a race to the bottom.
If I understand correctly, are you saying that you want to pay for this feature?  ;)

I was hoping that you were going to pay for it.
I will. In some conditions.

Wish you happy.  :D
Nathan and James Calfee not here?
Who is Ned?

I totally support the UI development work,
but I object to pay from the worker  when BTS is such a low price
my suggestion  is use the income from the network for the paid.

we are a company almost broke, you are all good, but we just can't pay for you now
I even agree pay for you with the future income from network.

I believe we pay 1 USD from the dilution, the share holders lose 10USD
You mean use the "money" on (or will soon be on) the committee account, arround $7000? Good idea. Do we need some kind of voting for this?
@cass your opinion?

Good analysis.
I remember BM ever said there are some technical challenges to be resolved before it can be implemented.

Another issue by now: we need developers, we need fund to support developers.

Bump. The last time.
Maybe I'll leave someday, like @clout.

Great ideas, let's give everyone some time to reply. You just recently posted it, I'm still trying to digest all the proposed enhancements.
Sigh, this forum is much more deserted than before if my memory serves me right.

The "a few" millions is more than 50 millions imo.

Sorry, what's "emski"?

for best performance better to use chrome .. safari and firefox aren't recommended currently ..

When trying to open Exchange with safari it stucks for me on loading screen directly ..

Safari Version 8.0.8 (10600.8.9)
Yosemite 10.10

Thanks for your input anyway..
Unfortunately, if they can't create backup in Safari, how to import/migrate to Chrome safely?

Grandma said   "I don't trade or invest.  There is nothing I can currently do with bitshares or any of its tokens.  I'd use bitshares if I could play slots, cards or bingo, get reward points and coupons at stores I shop at,  or if I could share the risk of unforeseen financial burdens with my friends/family/community.  I would also use bitshares if it could save me money sending funds to my family overseas, or if the charities I contribute to had quicker access and could keep more of what I donate. "
Most of above can be done with BitShares.. We need adoption.. We need businesses build on the top of BitShares.
