BitShares PTS / Re: [ANN] ptsweb.beeeeer.org - Protoshares mining sub-pool

Yes higher but not by much.  When coyotepool was running, right before it was closed, I was making the same amount I have all together with your pool in half a day with 3x less the power I'm mining with now. I mine LTC at this same speed...

Hey I've been mining on your pool with the 8CPU/16GB from DigitalOcean for a few hours and this is what I've gotten: http://i.imgur.com/lImsrwY.png

Whats up with this mining? I'm making around the same amount of PTS that I did on my home PC with better stats.

So I set everything up with the 16GB RAM package and started with 25 threads. Don't think that worked because something went wrong after 5 minutes and putty disconnected due to a software problem.

Whats going on, and how many threads can I use to keep things smooth and stable?

Got it running smoothly with 12 threads atm averaging around 4 sh/m but I'd like to get away with more if I can. I want maximum mining power with everything still smooth.

Been going for an hour and a half or 2 hours and only mined a total of 0.00733 PTS. That doesn't seem right to me, so I must be doing something wrong or the pool is chincing me out...

I think Keyhotee should run for 6 months to a year smoothly first before getting into mobile devices. Grow a user base and work out all the kinks first.

All I'm worried about right now is getting 10 PTS for a founders ID. I've mined 2.5 already but I don't think I'll be able to mine the rest, so I'll have to buy them. New years I'll probably be getting drunk with some friends, and the next morning go on Keyhotee all hung over.

I started, but it just say "Performing Benchmark".
What does that mean, am I able to mine soon or do i have to do something additional?

The pool was closed, there are other pools, look around and see if you want to join one https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?board=11.0

Wait this pool was closed? Or are you talking about another one?

I think if we get this GPU Miner like we've been told is coming we could get these 10 PTS in time...

In 11 days I've mined 1.9 PTS. I don't think I'm going to be able to mine 10 PTS before December 24th :/

What are you using to mine? I am hoping with these various free trials I can make it but I just started today.

I'm using my main computer getting 86 HMPS usually. Been running constant for 11 days.

W00T, payout received ... at last.... one PTS ....

So much effort for only just one .... lucky me, I don't have to do anything except sit back and enjoy the taught of my free EC2 instances running by themselves ...  :P

I've just had my other PC that I don't use running the miner for over a week now and I'm just about to hit 2 PTS. Hoping for 10 PTS by dec 20th

I'm mining as much PTS as I can until December 20th, and if I don't have the 10 PTS I'll buy the difference. Seems fair to me.

Explain to me how all of those centralized solutions allow you to protect a private key on your computer.  The best approach is a hardware wallet which we will be happy to support.  But we also need recoverability.  Storing your wallet on a USB stick can provide some basic two factor auth.

Maybe once you get the ball rolling with Keyhotee after it's release to the public, you can work on releasing a USB stick made special to store your wallet on. Maybe even fit that USB to also mine when plugged in if that's possible? That would almost guarantee constant miners throughout Keyhotee's existence.

Look at all these people who registered just to be a tester, this being their only post. Lol I'd like to be a tester (whos actually following these projects).

Is Keyhotee forked from PTS? And if so, how can you use your PTS to credit your id if you have to mine them aka different private keys...

Keyhotee is an application for secure interaction with people and DACs.  It does not have a tradable currency itself, but it will have a wallet for managing other currencies.  Its underlying block chain is for storing free Keyhotee IDs where just a little proof-of-work mining in the  background secures your free ID for a year.  As a user, you don't even have to think about this.  As long as you run Keyhotee about a day per year, your free ID is renewed.  If you get hit by a bus, your free ID name (not your associated private information) becomes available for someone else to claim after one year of no use.  IDs are not transferrable so there is no motivation to reserve names you don't plan to use.  Keyhotee Founder IDs, however, never expire.

How secure will this wallet be? It has to be the most top notch secure wallet you can have. If I were you guys I'd pay a few high end hackers to expose these security breaches (if there are any). Because one hack can completely destroy Keyhotees reputation, and fail.

Is that all there is at the moment? Is there an ID page that shows your reputation and other things too yet?

Looks really good so far though, I can't wait to see what more keyhotee can become.
