I took the embedded YouTube links from several of the Video Tutorials themselves and went directly to YouTube to watch (and hopefully hear) the videos as they are directly from the YouTube website...

Result: No audio. Video plays beautifully, but there is no audio to be heard. If I click around on YouTube to watch other random videos, I have no problems, - audio is heard loud and clear.

(I'm a newbie here still trying to get comfortable and knowledgeable on the ins-and-outs of this forum, but I'll try to notify the forum's Technical Support and/or Moderators of my experiences.)

i didn't mean that! but i think the attention you get is maybe less what you would get a couple of days before. Also consider to post it in the chinese subforum if you can transcript it.

I am willing to translate this into chinese, but the google form should be changed into someting that can be visited behind the greatwall firstly.

The idea to integrate BTS into storyline is great, I bet many people want to see this.
But I have to mention one thing, that the form you privided (http://bit.ly/1G9Pfjo) is hosted by google, which is banned in china.
So many members from china cannot fill out this form. :'(

An OS is the ideal goal of BitShares, as it reminds us an important fact:
The winner is always the most user-friendly one, not the most powerful one.

Comparing Windows, MacOS(<=9 and X), and Linux, you can see while Linux can almost do anything, but the winner is never linux for average users.
Even among linux distros, the most popular distros are always newbie-friendly, not geek-friendly.

Another imortant fact is that a worse OS could win just because it has a killer app on it. For example, although I am using linux as my desktop OS, I have to intall windows inside virtualbox to use MS Office in many cases. We ergently need such app in our platform.

To sum up, I think the 'killer app' for cryptocoins is financial/merchnt adoption, this explains why bitcoin has the least function but has the largest marketcap.

Me too. I think this is a good chance to discuss about what should be kept in mind when combining blockchain and gaming. As items in this game will be registered on nxt blockchain, I view playing this game as one kind of 'mining' on nxt blockchain. And I can't stop thinking about what if the game has some usual 'flaw' in many games that players can get expensive items easily? For example, in diablo3 player can quickly level up through secret cow level (guarded by high level players). And high level players have higher chance to get rare items. On the other hand, there are some games that have bugs that can easily duplicate thier items. In those situation, the economics of games get cracked, and so does nxt if it is on its blockchain.

Yeah I really hope the crowdfunder can success and the MoonStone can be released in MIT, so that the code can  be used as cornerstone for future projects. As a linux user, I know I can't emphasize this anymore, also know that most users don't even feel it...
Anyway, I don't have much, but I have also bought some as I can.

monsterer is working to give metaexchange a orderbook and the possiblity to act like an "normal" exchange. So if shapeshift don't want to hold BTS say can use us.

In the future:

1. we will provide to every bitAsset a bridge into Bitcoin
2. we will integrate major Altcoins too!

Maybe this will save shapeshift work and they are reaching far more people then we can.

@kenCode: I think this problem is over-thought. What ShapeShift really need to do is a gateway service, just like metaexchange. So use the metaexchange API is the simplest and fastest way to achieve it.

There is, there's just not enough people using it. Shapeshift could help to become a liquidity provider through becoming a market maker on the pair. I agree that programatically this may involve selling on the BTS market but eventually more people will use it on its own. BitUSD:BTC etc are going to be amazing when they have more liquidity but to start with it needs to be easy to enter and exit the BTS pairs.

Actually,  it is bitBTC/bitCNY in internal market,  but in ShapeShift it is realBTC/bitCNY.
I think for realBTC/bitCNY,  they just need to do what metaexchange have already done.

I found this video and think it is very related to PeerTracks and BitShares:

In this video he talked about how blockchain technoloy will 'disrupt Hollywood'. For example:
~7:11 He predicted there will be `artist coins`
~8:30 he predicted there will be digital media platforms by 'blockchain companies'. And he also metiontioned bitshares.

Besides, I noticed that the 'TEDxHollywood' event would be a very good chance for PeerTracks to broadcast your ideals. In its official site:
