Freebie / Sharebits on Telegram is Possible?
« on: March 08, 2016, 08:11:19 pm »
I would like to see Sharebits on Telegram, like Jonny's telebit wallet. Telegram is becoming popular (especially where there more governments' surveillance) and it has powerful API/bot features.

Thoughts?

General Discussion / Graphene Library for Java?
« on: March 01, 2016, 06:31:40 pm »
Mobile app market is very large and have great potentials. It's a key of success -- without having mobile apps, Uber-like services couldn't succeed.
I saw Ken's mobile wallet uses JS library, and maybe the development was little difficult because he has to import JS into Android Java structure.

But what if we had Java library for Graphene? Anyone can easily subscribe blockchain using websocket, and send transactions without storing their private keys in the server, like current Javascript wallet does. This will bolster Bitshares as a platform.

General Discussion / [ANN] Kkachi Service is Opened to the Community
« on: February 28, 2016, 02:01:38 am »
Kkachi has been providing liquidity into DEX by copying orderbooks from outside and performed well during the last month. (https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,21221.msg281259.html#msg281259)
I decided to open Kkachi service to the community in order to anyone can provide liquidity to DEX using Kkachi and make a profit.
To use Kkachi service, please read the following instructions and conditions:

1) Operation Period: 2016/3/4 ~ 2016/4/3. You cannot withdraw fund during the period.
2) All your principals are protected in terms of quantity.
3) Minimum investment is 0.5 BTC worth. (e.g. 0.25 BTC, 25k BTS)
4) Your fund shoud be a combination of BTC and Non-BTC. The ratio between BTC and non-BTC should be greater than 1.
   (e.g. 2 BTC and 100k BTS - Okay / 1 BTC and 200k BTS - Not Acceptable)
FYI: This is due to the slowness of BTC transfer. To be agile, Kkachi must have more BTC than BTS.
5) Fee is proportional to profit rate with maximum of 20%. The fee does not applied to your principal, but only to your profit.
   (e.g. 1% profit - 1% fee / 30% profit - 20% fee from the profit)
6) If the connected exchange is compromised (I will inform the exchange's name to users), 50% of your fund can be haircut.
7) Supported currencies and rates:
   a) BTS: 1 BTC = 100,000 BTS
   b) ETH: 1 BTC = 70 ETH

Please PM me before 2016/3/4 if you're interested in. Please include your planned amounts and currency and send them before the beginning date after confirmation from me. If you have questions, please let me know.
Lastly, I want to remind you that this service is based on trust (in me and the external exchange) so don't put too much fund into this service.

Technical Support / Do we have mobile infrastructure for iOS and Android?
« on: February 27, 2016, 10:37:28 pm »
Can mobile users connect any graphene websocket server, and send transactions with having their private keys only in their devices?
Do we have such APIs? (or kind of develop infrastructures)

General Discussion / BitShares needs separate specialized frontends
« on: February 13, 2016, 02:36:43 am »
As getting more services and features, I feel that BitShares wallet is becoming too complex to use for average users. We (will) have services such as storing and transferring of funds (with/without privacy), exchange, gateway, PM market, voting, dynamic account permission, etc. What I want to insist is to have specialized front-ends.

We can have Openledger exchange website (exchange with pre-selected recommended markets + gateway + transfer)
We can have prediction market site/app (customized exchange for PM markets + transfer + gateway)
We can have remittance site/app (gateway + one-click currency conversion button)
We can have secure messaging app (transfer)

The integrated wallet is good as well. But if there can be meaningful demands, why don't we make a separate and easy service and provide them?

General Discussion / [Poll] Which Trading Pair Do You Prefer?
« on: February 08, 2016, 11:44:00 pm »
I'm considering to move my bot's base currency from OPEN.BTC to BTS. If you prefer BTS as a base currency, please vote for option 1. If you prefer OPEN.BTC as a base currency, vote for option 2.

I made another liquidity providing bot, called Durumi (crane, a bird). It's now a prototype, so there can be lots of bugs.
Please help testing Durumi. If you have bitUSD or bitBTC, you can trade them now without hassle.

Edit: Oh I just realized that I forgot very important thing. Will be back soon!Back now

General Discussion / KKachi is on OPEN.ETH:OPEN.BTC market!
« on: February 04, 2016, 04:23:12 am »
Kkachi (magpie) is a real-time bot that provides liquidity to OpenBTC-based market with lower spreads.
If you want to trade BTS with BTC, use OpenBTC and Kkachi! You don't need to move your BTS to Poloniex or other exchanges, and do not have to wait for super long 50 confirmations hoping that the price not changes much.

Kkachi now supports real-time price detect, multi-currency, and multi-bracket order. It seems quite busy because it's real-time and has price sensitivity because of low spread.

Compare the price with other exchanges and decide. I'm pretty sure that Kkachi will provide you with great service and good price.

It will provide OPEN.ETH - OPEN.BTC market when available. So stay tuned!

General Discussion / [Survey] Do you like Kkachi's service?
« on: February 01, 2016, 10:59:54 pm »
Kkachi is a liquidity providing bot in OPENBTC markets on DEX. Currently it's playing with BTS and OPENDOGE for testing purposes.

Do you like Kkachi? Or not?

If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

P.S. I'm planning to make OPENETH-OPENBTC market when available. Sounds good?

General Discussion / [Survey] About the Fees to Business Owners
« on: January 28, 2016, 11:37:42 pm »
In the middle of fee debate, I want to know how "real" business runners think about fees.

If you are (potential) business owner in BitShares, please provide your answer the following survey questions.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) What is your business (name and type)?

2) Your preference about fee levels? (you can answer no preference)

A. Transfer fee
B. Trading fee (order creation)
C. Others

3) Reasons for fees

Do you want to buy or sell your BTS in Poloniex? You can use Kkachi!
With very small spread it can provide you with the best price in the DEX.

You must know that this is alpha version. I am a noob in programming and this my first product. So it maybe not stable but it doesn't mean it will rob your money (actually you can take my money when Kkachi is knocked out). But any tests are more than welcome.

Enjoy!

grapheneapi.RPCError: 0 exception: unspecified
3030007 insufficient_fee: insufficient fee
Insufficient Fee Paid

It seems CLI wallet does not have cancellation fee pay feature. How can I do cancellation using rpc call?
