Seem like other Exchanges are taking away our fire, or maybe it's too hard for the average user to use the Bitshares wallet

Apparently, this guy has been making predictions that have come true like he knew about the Bitstamp hack before it happened. Bitcoin price could skyrocket tomorrow which means Bitshares will go up as well.

General Discussion / Automatic Game Payouts - Bitcoin, BitGLD, etc
« on: January 08, 2015, 10:26:03 pm »
So, on Bitcoin Reddit the top story is about a iOS game called SaruTobi that rewards players in Bitcoin:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2rqlj6/apple_approves_ios_game_that_tips_players_in/

I've download the game and already made over 63 cents, check it out: https://blockchain.info/address/17jVL3LR9UG2QVU9H2FDsuQ9JwuwTcrHLe

I'm a Game Developer myself and currently preparing to launch an iOS game in a week or so, and would like to do the same thing, offer rewards/payouts in Bitcoin as well as in other currencies like maybe BitGold :)

Anyone know how to do automatic game payouts like this guy did, what code he used? You can download the game here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/id932194840?mt=8

General Discussion / BitUSD onramp
« on: December 24, 2014, 04:55:54 pm »
So, I don't really like using Coinbase or Circle

and lots of Bitcoiners don't like to use them either.
If you read today's bitoin reddit:
Coinbase cancelled my BTC purchase after transferring from bank, when price went up $23!
3rd one from the top, lots of commentors saying to avoid coinbase: https://www.reddit.com/r/bitcoin

I can't wait for the BitUSD onramp, I'm sure a lot of Bitcoin users will use it to purchase BTC on Bitshares. Especially if you can use a debit card to buy BitUSD and then buy BTC.

General Discussion / BTS MOTHER BOT - Idea
« on: December 19, 2014, 06:51:44 am »
So last night in bed I thought, what if there was a way for me to send BTC or any other currenty to my BTS address and it would just work automatically convert the BTC to BTS. Then it clicked!!!

Why not have a "BTS Mother Bot": this bot would act like an automatic exchange digital currency converter, it has it's own BTC wallet, wallets for every digital currency. You send BTC to it's wallet at the current fee, which get's added to the BTS network. The Bot sends you back BTS. BTS get's the fees, and no worrying about centralized exchanges.

What do you guys think, could this work?

What do you guys think of Tox? I'm not sure if I should download it, it looks to be open source and a good alternative to skype. Anyone use it?

I'm still new to Reddit, but I see that our Bitshares moderator is Xeroc: http://www.reddit.com/r/BitShares

In order to increase user adoption of Bitshares, all in favor of setting up an automated weekly tipping bot, express your vote in the poll above. Has anyone already setup a bot like this before or knows someone that can do it?

I found this:

General Discussion / Venezuela urgently needs Bitshares
« on: December 12, 2014, 10:46:47 pm »
Just look at this article. What if they had their own Venezuelan Asset :)

http://arstechnica.com/business/2014/12/man-who-bought-bitcoin-startup-assets-speaks-raising-even-more-questions/

"My business in Venezuela distributes to large companies," he wrote. "We do not sell in small quantities (retail). I think there are no more than 10 companies or individuals working/accepting bitcoin in Venezuela, it really is an unknown subject."
