This week I focused on improving the asset pages. It's not finished but this is all useful market data so I figure I'd release the work in progress sooner than later:
https://cryptofresh.com/a/USD
https://cryptofresh.com/a/MKR_OPEN.BTC

Feedback is appreciated, especially from a trader's perspective.. Any units to flip? Any obvious missing data?

Really nice!

I think the current feed price should be in a more prominent position.  Is there a plan for transaction history?  What does the top 250 accounts mean?

Thanks @cube, feed price is the same thing as "settlement price" price, correct? I've added it above "Details" pane on the right side for now.

Transaction history - you mean to show latest transfers? Or market orders history? Market order history is definitely something I'd like to add there, it's just part of the new API I haven't accessed yet.

Top 250 accounts means "250 accounts with the highest balances and/or debts in this asset" (i.e. the most interesting)

Yes, the fed price is the 'settlement price' in the GUI.  Settlement price in CF is showing '--'.

Transaction history = 'transacted order history'.  Does market order history means that?

The top 250-account list is lumping the highest balances and debts together and this can be confusing.  Can it be separately ranked (ie top in balance OR top in debt)?

Ah, there's actually 2 'settlement prices' -- the 2nd one is part of the "Global settle" feature, and currently only applies to RUB/SEK. But I did add "Price feed" at the top of the right-hand pane. I'll try to clear this up to make it look better though.

And yep, that's what I meant by market order history.

As for the top 250 list, I see what you mean. Maybe it is best to split it into two tables? One for debt positions, the other for balance+orders+collateral balance. Should I combine "Orders" and "Collateral" fields? Or keep them separate?

I see that 'fee price' now.  If this information is right above the price chart, it would be easier for the user to compare it with the chart.  I think the feed price should be in the same base term as the price chart.

IMHO, balance+orders should be a chart by itself and making collateral another chart.

This road map is copied into bts Basecamp - https://3.basecamp.com/3319348/buckets/621127/documents/88397031 for easier reference, share and update.

I can't login...

I think you need to create an basecamp account first.  PM @Samupaha your email.

Muh lines say .03 to .025 till Metropolis. If it gets any lower or higher it's simply a mistake in the data being reported.

It breached 0.025.  What is missing?

Hmmm wonder where all the bts bulls went that said I wasnt "acting like a trader" because I was bearish bts...

Same price action over and over... One day spike followed by constant steady dumpage, and probably sold to all the "higher floor" guys

Yes. Pumps and dumps. Speculators chasing after the next 'wave'.  What is new?

I am on tv, radio, newspapers all the time because of what I call the 'bunker bump'.

If/when OpenPOS is ready be sure to turn it into an interesting news story
that makes way more noise than just a forum post here. Come up with some interesting story that incorporates the tech.

Good call!  +5%

Can you share with us some of the things you have done on tv, radio, newspaper and other possible media?

Muse/SoundDAC / Re: Importing Keys
« on: March 17, 2016, 02:58:53 am »
Hi Cube!

Thanks again!

I don't have the possibility of running my old version of Bts1 due to the fact that the HD was corrupted, so I'm trying to import my backup from a usb pendrive through a new Mac and using the new version of Bts2. I'm not able to do a export to json from the Bts1 console.
Is there anyway to import the backup from a usb considering that the extension is .json?

Cheers!

Not that I know of.  The information stored is different.

Hi Cube!

Thanks for your help.

I followed the steps, but it keeps saying that I'm using an invalid wallet format.
I did a Backup using my old version BitsharesX almost 16moths ago, and that's what I got: "BitShares X Wallet Backup.json".
But, it seems not so easy to import that extension using the wallet management console in BitShares2-light.

Any clue for a dummy?

Do not do a backup.  It does not work.

Do a 'export to json file' from the bts1 wallet Console.  I think you missed this step.

General Discussion / Re: Augur REP IOU is available on BitShares
« on: March 16, 2016, 01:56:31 am »
At 8 - 11 USD per reputation right now, if we assume an 11 million supply (coinmarketcap doesn't seem to know how many augur exists) that implies a market cap of about 50million, right? Not sure how much REP is available on gatecoin either, but with the extremely small amount on bitshares exchange, my question is, is the price artificially high because there aren't much REP available on the market out of what's going to be the total supply?

because of the little supply the rep price is theoretical overvalued right now.

I liked VERY MUCH this analysis here:
https://medium.com/blockchain-investment-vehicles/a-sane-model-for-pricing-augur-rep-tokens-32dbd9db5f6#.454acti9r

give me your feedback about this analysis please   ;)

Interesting article.  He is applying valuation technique on traditional stocks to cryptos.  Crypto-land is a wild wild west.

Technical Support / Re: Need help importing old PTSwallet into 2.0.

Ok, I been messing with 9.3c wallet.

How do I register it, the faucet isn't working?

When I import my keys, nothing shows up.

Also do I need to sync up the blockchain?

You can create a local account. It does not need to be registered. And you do not need to sync the blockchain.
