bump.

OP-er. Wrong!

@tonyk is correct, but with one huge caveat - there absolutely must be an IOU backed by real off chain crypto in order for BTS price to have any meaning at all in a system where BTS only trades internally.

It becomes the external exchanges' turn to have a price feed of the DEX.

These central bankers are getting desperate as their control become eroded by the crypto movement.

You can always use METAEX.ETH   UIA from Metaexchange

Is METAEX.ETH in the web wallet/light walelt too?

This should be our in-of-the-seasons annoucement.  ;)

Basecamp does help to get things better organised.  There is no harm in trying it out.  It may turn out to be a useful tool to us.

I swear it's as if Bitshares developers don't even try with marketing. Every exchange except MetaExchange is listed on Ethtrader.

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethtrader/

didn't know about this reddit sub - so thanks to bring it to our attention.

can't follow all the things are moving in the cryptospace, this is not a fulltime business right now.

Is monsterer working on MetaExchange  full time?

Would be nice if we could have a trezor-like solution for bitshares yeah, especially for people like me with memory-problems. About the cold-storage with proxy voting, how would that work? Is there a wiki-page for it?

If I am not wrong, xeroc was working on a cold wallet solution.  @xeroc, how is it going?

Hi there!

Sorry for my ignorance, but I'm not skill enough to import my .json backup to the new client.

Anybody could send me instructions or link to import my old backup .json format into the new version 2.0?

Cheers!

How do I get my private keys from my AGS donation address?  All I have is the wallet.dat file that was used back then, that computer broke a while ago.

Try this - http://computriks.com/en/bitcoin-export-private-key

Replace 'bitcoin wallet' with 'PTS .dat wallet'

The drop is annoying yeah, but as long as we make a higher floor its still progress.  Currently we are still higher than before the pump started, just have to hold around the 1400 level and its all good.

That is right.  We are at a higher floor.  Some were saying 'Buy on rumour, sell on news', so it is not a surprise.

I created an account on openledger.info but I do not see the "Deposit / Withdraw" option on the left side menu below the Open Orders. All I see is "White list". Followed through the tutorials exactly but still these options do not show up.  Tried the same on two computers with two different accounts without any luck. Any tips on what is wrong or what is it that I have not done rightly. Thanks.

You should be seeing the Deposit/Withdraw tab right below the Whitelist tab.

General Discussion / Re: What are BTCPLUS, COMPUCEEDS ?
« on: March 14, 2016, 04:12:59 am »
Thanks guys. We've been lurking and looking for the best blockchain to place COMPUCEEDS which also serves as a rewards token on our global community, mostly the boomers' market, since 2006. We've wanted an Altcoin... but it doesn't make sense. A UIA or a SmartCoin is better. And reinventing the wheel doesn't make sense either. The Bitshares 2.0 platform, so far, exceeds our expectations and we believe we've found our final piece of the puzzle. Our CEO will be sharing more information on this forum soon. As of now, most of the negotiations, talks and other things to further support and bring in critical mass to the Openledger/Bitshares 2.0 platform and support all cryptocurrencies in it are in the works. Currently, we are keeping touch with at least two of the four horsemen of crypto-economics in the background.

Welcome!

Bitshares has a shiny fast engine and we welcome all legit businesses to make good use of it.  If it turned out well, COMPUCEEDS would be one of the early adopters.  Looking forward to your CEO's introduction of your organisation and getting to know how you intend to use bitshares.

Still not working.  Just to let you know what I did. I had my really old PTS wallet.dat from when those suckers were like 9$.  I imported that .dat file into the bitshares-pts 1.0 wallet.  Did I royally screw up doing that?

The step is PTS wallet.dat import into bts1 wallet -> export wallet to bts2 file format -> import file to bts2 client.  You do not need to sync bts1 since you have no transactions.

Check out http://docs.bitshares.eu/bitshares/migration/howto-exporting-wallet.html#bitshares-1-0-full-client for details.

all crypto is rising against a common foe. embrace eth's rise as your own, even if not invested.

Well said. Crypto rise is good for us - the ones who believe in the liberation from the central controlled fiat systems.
