I have the same issues every so often, and I have ntp running
I was seeing the same thing. Restarting the witness seemed to fix it though.

If it is margin called shorts, shouldn't it only be a fraction of the massive buy wall? I would expect that the majority of the wall to be expired shorts and thus not subject to the 10% over the peg penalty.

I think something is going on with the charts for the website. In the gui wallet it looks normal. I would send you a screenshot but it doesnt seem to work, guess I am still a forum noob.

Thanks for the update. I guess I must have missed the original github link in my excitement to try the app. I will definitely check that out.

Hi ElMato, is this thread the best place to report bugs or do you have another preferred method. I am currently having issues when I try to deposit btc and I type in the amount. I get an error whether the amount is USD or btc. It seems to work when I look at the withdraw function though. Again awesome work on the wallet, really excited to show my friends.

Well done guys! It looks really nice and is super easy to use. One thing I noticed though, when copying the address to a coinbase wallet on Android, it copied two slashes before the address and that I had to delete them for it to send. Keep up the good work.

I believe I am connected(mini testnet), will have to shut off my computer when I leave for work. I have a pi I can try it out on when I get home later though. Too cool.   8)

Thanks, nice work with the walkthrough. I'll hold off until the seed node issue is resolved. If it is helpful, here is what I was getting when I tried to register a sub account, not sure if it is related to the seed node issue or not.

10 assert_exception: Assert Exception
rec && rec->name == account_name_or_id:
    {}
    th_a  wallet.cpp:510 get_account

from

import_key delegate-1.lafona <owner-key>

I am trying to import one of my sub accounts and setup a witness following https://bitshares.org/blog/2015/08/04/howto-become-a-witness/ Is it possible to import only a sub account ie delegate-1.lafona or do I have to import the lafona parent account?

Also I had to modify the following command, not sure if it was a typo or if it should have worked without changing it.

./programs/cli_wallet/cli_wallet -s ws://176.9.234.167:8090

./programs/cli_wallet/cli_wallet -s ws://127.0.0.1:8090

Do any of the "different monitoring options" unlock the wallet automatically? If so, maybe the script is locking it after it has run. Or if it unlocking it for a shorter time, not sure if this would overide a previous wallet unlock for a longer time.

A while back there was an idea to use bitcoin mining to replace ads for webpages. I think idea was that the webpage would use the cpu for a few seconds mine and this would more or less pay for the content. I'm wondering if you could do something similar but with hard drive space. When they download the app they decide how much storage to contribute and based on that they get so much 'free' music. Considering the amount of hard drive space a music lover would normally dedicate to their library, this could be a reasonable trade off. Not sure if it is even feasible but you might be able to talk to @Taek or one of the other people working on blockchain based storage.

Is the MIA Eth something where we could have people split the cost of registering and when 2.0 comes out effectively have the ownership/control allocated based on contribution/investment. Could be a chance to showcase dynamic account permissions...

@fav

I just sent you a little. Should be enough for a little more than 500 MB. Storage is very affordable right now :)
