Sia is another blockchain based storage platform I think could be good to talk to. I don't think they are as well known as storj, but the devs seem to be making progress and have some interesting ideas/applications.  Currently you can lease/rent storage as long as you have a few Siacoins. I think working with either storj, sia or both could be big, as most people won't want to pay for storage in some arbitrary currency, but instead with something they are familiar with(USD, EUR, etc).

I don't think they have. At least I haven't see any yet. Were the BPTS distributed for the first hangout, if so, I think I might have been left off that list.

NOTE:BTS pair in Bitshares exchange. Should be one of the featured markets or you can type NOTE:BTS in the search markets window. Also I believe you can buy them at blocktrades.us with btc, BitUSD and some other currencies.

NOTE is the one which was sharedropped to pts holders to track ownership of the (music, now muse) blockchain. Here are some older posts that might be helpful.

When the nano card is working for BitUSD, will it go through the ccedk USD:BitUSD order book on its way to the partner bank? If so, that could be very helpful for balancing that order book.

So it would be a similiar approach to what radio shows do. Sort of like a word of the day. Would a text to speech algo be able to manipulate this? Maybe a category of the day, (red, yellow, green) colors. It would have to be manually checked as there would be possibilities for different answers.
Also is it too late to ask for Brownie points for the previous mumble. I was in the chat log, but it looks like I got left out. Thanks

Even if we don't see a bump in price, if it gets 11000+ views like the Nxt article, that is a lot more people hearing about BitShares. Nice work Ronny!

Not sure what u guys are seeing as we keep legging lower.  Recently there were a lot of shorts covered on the dex for bitcny.  Whoever did this seems to have sold all their freed up collateral plus everything else they owned.  It looks like they used btc38 to do the dumping. It looks like 1 person or a small group colluded to set off a big slide while the order book was extra thin.  We just lost a whale. Hopefully it was someone in china who maybe had racked up big losses in the Chinese stock market and just needed cash flow to meet a margin call....
I was thinking the same thing. Or maybe the chinese gov't efforts to prop up their stock market have eliminated (temporarily) what would otherwise have been a flow of capital from the overvalued market into other areas, including crypto and BTS and all that money is just waiting for the trade holds to be lifted. (probably wishfull thinking)

I just have a question about where the fees go once they are collected. At one point I remember them being all burned, then I thought they were added to delegate pay to give it a little boost. In the latter case a 100% delegate would actually receive 50 BTS+ (some amount from fees) per block produced. Is this still the case? Thanks

General Discussion / Re: New Gateway Tutorial/HowTo?
« on: June 06, 2015, 11:48:15 pm »
Thanks. I will look into those. I am actually interested in crypto to Uia gateway, particularly for new coins.
I think if we had some sort of tutorial and template. Integration of new coins could almost be something done by developers or trusted members of those communities. This seems like it would be preferable to the other option of voting for coins integration which we have recently experienced. Just a thought. Also I am personally interested in adding a few coins I am a fan of.
