The only way to compromise your account is to hack your computer and guess your password.

This is the same common problem with all wallets. It can be hacked.
I'm certain there is lots to do but i like the way Armory Wallet conducts its protection process so malware have a hard time logging.. Something to consider seems security part of Keyhotee's product.

PTS is the starting of something that will change the way we use the internet. If you read about Bitshares, Bit USD, BitGold etc, you will soon realise the plan is soooo much bigger. It is worth taking that risk and holding onto your PTS.

There is no evil intention, just a lack of time on my side.
That's good to hear but please give this issue priority - it's beginning to make PTS look broken and may be affecting market price. Obviously by virtue of your large pool, you've a big investment in PTS, so it's in your interests more than anyone else to get this resolved.
Pool miners - please consider other pools until this issue is resolved - you're harming the coin by letting this slide.
