"Futures giant Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Thomson Reuters and the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) will now run the show through an electronic, auction-based and auditable systems."
This system uses an anonymous auction to help set prices, maybe they read about Bitshares! There is mention of rounds of auctions and then a price fix at midday. Just wondered if there was any technical reason for a price "fix" at set times, i.e. why not have a continuously adjusted price.
