I talked to DSN yesterday and it seems like they have a great road map. We also agreed on a few things,

Pool must be the most profitable
Payouts and up time need to be on point
It must be easy for miners to cash out via CS if they choose to do so

Personally I think it would be great if a miner could come to Minebitshares site and use the social login found here http://cryptosmith.info/index.php?controller=authentication&back=my-account

This way they create a account via bitshares client(sign-ups).Their shipping info can be collected and from their it should be a simple one click to have their digital turned to physical. We even talked about shipping little 1 gram bars of gold to lower the entry barrier for smaller mining operations.

Do you think they should have a webwallet or the software?

minebitshares.com needs to be in the top pool list - https://poolpicker.eu/ to attract miners in a significant way.

Yes, transfer of ownership will be completed next week. Then our goal will be to enable Sha256 and stay at the top of poolpicker.eu and every other listing with the help of the delegate.

When miners realize that their bonus increase as our market cap grows, they may want to start buying some BTS.

General Discussion / RETWEET Moonstone.io Launch Announcement...NOW!
« on: April 09, 2015, 02:47:26 pm »
I love our community. It is the most entrepreneurial community I have ever encountered.
Now is the time to show the world how we support our start-ups.

I want every single person who read this tread to RT Moonstone.io link below.
Yesterday we got 50 Retweet, this time, we can do better.

If every single of us would do that we can attract some very much needed eyeballs on our community.

Let's do this:

The road map looks great. As a retired miner I can say profit trumps everything. All miners who are mining as anything more than a hobby have their profitability calculated six ways from Sunday and multiple revenue forecasts. The margins are very thin. Stay #1 in profitability and you'll have no trouble attracting miners.
I doubt I have anything to add that you guys haven't already thought of long ago but thought I'd chime in as a reformed small time miner (~80 GPU's).

We can't wait to start improving upon what has already been built. Stay tuned!

The Operator is DataSecurityNode and he is in charge of the logistic of the back-end.
(see the to do list in the document)

I do marketing, so I am looking to create a front-end website with a bitshares login, tutorials to setup an account, whitepapers, gui, etc.

42 Retweet. Let's go for 1000!

In all seriousness, there is no way to know what's happening. No one can.

A butterfly may flap it's wing in Japan, start an hurricane in Africa and affect the mood of an America investor in visit to Africa who suddenly decide that he's going to put his whole fortune on bitcoin.

Correlation does not equal causation.

All that we have power over is with what we do with the little time we have everyday to make our ecosystem better. Moonstone is a part of that.

Retweeted!  +5%

I am willing to start some bets! ;-) Who think we can get to 1000 retweets?

356
You really should add a small URL to the graphic.  It took me a while to figure out what Moonstone was.  I had to hike thru a deep forest with Goonies like traps.   :o

I do not have access to moonstone.io twitter handle

Interesting this tread got 97 views yet only 17 retweet...

I guess we now see who are the doers and who are the talkers.

If everyone on this forum shared specific content on social media, we would have huge reach by word of mouth alone.

I think it is hard to sustain social media marketing promotion for any period of time with an entire community. But short burst can be extremely powerful. (Especially when it is a launch!)

General Discussion / Re: Staff Meeting Notes - Monday, April 6, 2015

This includes hours of off-camera interviews where Bytemaster has given them insights about what is coming later this year.  They are not allowed to disclose that information, of course, but they are free to tell you their general impressions and personal levels of interest in what is going on at Bytemaster Labs.

Its good that they are not allowed to tell us these secrets, because then we would buy on the hype and be disappointed later when the features were delayed and came out 5 months later than we were told. :P

Precisely why they must remain secrets.   :)

All we can do is hint, better yet "foreshadow", that we have much bigger plans that we are confident we can achieve and are as committed to them as ever.  (And no, we are not going to tell the competition about them in advance any more.)

Some may choose to discount such hints.  That's ok.  But we still feel obligated to provide them for the benefit of those who do find them useful.  Should we really hide knowledge that we we feel we are in a much stronger position than we were last year?  That we get up every day eager to get back to work?  That we can't sleep at night thinking about it?  That our wives won't go to dinner with the team any more because that's all we talk about?

So we have a duty to the "glass is half full" folks to get that message out. Even the loyal but cynical "half empty" crowd wouldn't really want us to go completely dark and leave the impression that nothing is happening, would you?

Anyway, we are siding with the optimists.   "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
