Technical Support / Re: No balance after import
« on: October 19, 2015, 05:00:36 pm »
When you say how did I move my funds last time, what do you mean?  On the 0.9.3c client, the amount of BTS is over 300,000. I exported my wallet using the advanced option on a Windows client machine.

I then took the keys.json file and imported them via the cli_wallet.

You may need to claim balances:

Code: [Select]
import_balance <account name> <private key> true
See here for more info: http://docs.bitshares.eu/migration/howto-importing-wallet.html#cli-wallet

Correct:

import_balance my_account_name ["*"] true

I've have run this command multiple times via the cli_wallet command line.  The result is:

3439782ms th_a       wallet.cpp:3183               import_balance       ] balances: []

I then run 'list_my_accounts' and I still do not have a balance.

I left my computer on for 48 hours trying to claim balances via the web wallet.  The result no balances.

I imported the keys via the cli_wallet as referenced http://docs.bitshares.eu/migration/howto-importing-wallet.html#cli-wallet here.  The process took over 12 hours.  The result no balances.

I don't know what else to do.  SMH

I have over 300,000 BTS on the 0.93c client.  After importing to Graphene, I have a balance of 1 BTS.  My initial import via the web wallet was taking too long so I canceled it.  I then imported via the cli_wallet on two separate occasions and still not showing the correct balances.

I really need help.

What company did you use to post the original Press Release?  How much did it cost and did include all the subsequent posts?

I met you (Dan) at the Bitcoin conference in Atlanta in October 2013.  I mined PTS on day one and I purchased the first PTS from Shawn Wilkerson (Super3).  Researched and spoke with you about starting a PTS mining pool using stratum with your birthday POW algorithm.  I published articles about Bitshares on the LTB Network.  I've contributed to this forum.

My username Pairmike on the BTS platform.

Technical Support / No BTS balance - version 0.7.0

I have no BTS balance on Version 0.7.0.  Is there a command that I can run?  I hope it is a GUI issue and I haven't been hacked.

I've been involved with crypto currencies and Bitcoin since March 2013.  I fell down the rabbit hole like most people in this industry.  The blockchain technology is fascinating with it's potential.  I was early investor in BitShares, Swarm, and more recently in SuperNet. Each of these projects are referred to as Bitcoin 2.0.  This implies projects that are built on top of the base level blockchain technology.  I have a few other crypto currencies that I hold.

Most of my learning has been accomplished by reading forums, listening to radio shows, and news articles.  Now, I'm looking to form a group of fellow crypto investors and traders to discuss strategies, investment possibilities, and other things related to crypto currency and the blockchain.  If you would like to become a member, contact me on Twitter @simpleinvesting.

We will have to decide what is the best medium to communicate, meeting times, and other organizational tasks.

I look forward to hearing from you all.  Thanks.

Hello,

I Sent this to the Bter support:

"Mar 13, 17:29

When am I going to be able to withdraw my BitShares? I'm already waiting since weeks.
Yesterday BTS withdrawals were enabled and I submitted it but now today I see its disabled again and the funds remain in my Bter account.
When do you expect to have BTS withdrawals working 100%?"

They Replied:

"Mar 13, 17:46

Dear Sir,
BTS withdrawal is suspended . The new BTS wallet is not stable and we have contacted the BTS dev team .

We will process the bts withdrawal later when the wallet is proven to be stable enough.

Best Regards
Bter.com"

What is the issue with the BitShares wallet on Bter? Can someone from BitShares have a look at this?

I have my coins stuck there since weeks, please help.
A way around this problem is to sell your BTS on Bter.  Buy Litecoin (LTC) and withdraw your LTC to another exchange (LTC withdrawal on Bter is working).  Then rebuy your BTS and move your BTS to your desktop wallet.  This works and takes about 30 mins to complete.

I was able to get my BTS out of Bter by selling all of it for LTC.  Then withdrawing LTC to another exchange.  I lost a few bucks for the conversion, but saved the lion share.  Thank the Lord Jesus.

LTC withdrawal is enabled already?

They should really enable everything at the same time.
Yes, LTC withdrawal is enabled.  I found it by poking around.

Thanks.  I did  not realize that .009 was the actual USD price.
