I already commented how much I love this in another post, I thought it was so meaningful I wanted to draw attention to it.   What a great way to address so many needless arguments in Bitcointalk while also engaging the overall crypto community.

In a downtrend since march. It seems litecoin is pretty much done for.

I respect Litecoin for what they did to introduce a new set of enthusiasts to enjoy mining without specialized hardware. I would think most were starting to see the writing on the wall with all the 2.0 related projects entering the market.

Its just the principles in the classic. "How to win friends and influence people."

But it is all kind of heightened by a factor of ten because if you can make it pro bitcoin you will get 10 times the eyeballs.

The biggest problem I have with bitshares today is its lacking cold wallet functionality. I could x10 my bitshares investment overnight if there was a cold wallet feature that could sign offline transactions and a hot wallet that could broadcast them. Alternatively OTP support in the client would help. Unfortunately now I have to just sit on the sidelines and wait. In the meantime perhaps other options will come up that overtake bitshares.

 

I'd like to hear more about this from our development team.

Thank you for the taking the time  to share your thoughts about Overstock, it was a pleasure to read.  Sometimes I find an article that really catches me attention, this one did.

This is a great reminder to start peeking through BM's blog and making sure we're doing whatever can we to help funnel traffic.

I just posted this to Nullstreet.  I offer 100% support to you in this vision.  I urge this community to start adopting this mindset and give Bitmarket whatever resources he needs.  I will put the same effort forward without requesting a tip if those resources went to Bitmarket.  That's how serious I am about what he's doing here. There's already millions of investment pouring into Bitcoin, let's figure out how Bitshares helps protect that investment.

Devs are very skilled and highly valuable persons. So is a leader (CEO). Did you get my reference to Steve Jobs? Do you think he did much coding?

I think you are somehow confusing my statement with the OP. I'm not interesting in playing fallacy bingo. Given the post about the 3M bts bonus, I was simply stating the OP question is legit. You have a shareholder asking about the duties of the project lead, in what alternate universe is that not acceptable?

Look through the threads, countless snide comments about what Stan accomplishes. I'm thankful that the OP asked and Stan can give a solid answer we can all reference in the future. I don't care about philosophical debates about Steve Jobs contribution, I just want to hear the answer to a question that's referenced time and time again. Nothing more, I'm not nearly as emotionally invested as others.
