Keyhotee / Re: What does the word KEYHOTEE mean?
« on: January 03, 2014, 03:51:44 pm »
Common it's just a word and people will find a way to pronounce it no matter were they live.

No it's not open source at this moment and not decentralized and it's by no means a silk road alternative, it's only build to support Keyhotee users on their way and make the community flourish. All user communication and platform messages will be send via Keyhotee anyways. However I'm investigation ways to decentralize and open-source the voting mechanism because that's an important part and must be transparent and safe for everyone, I'm open for ideas to incorporate this. But cheating the system is kinda hard anyways, if I have 98% upvotes but my Kh reputation which is decentralized is very low then there's something wrong and an alarm bell will ring to take caution. For now I just want to have it up and running and work from there to decentralize parts.

Keyhotee / Introducing KIDARC - Keyhotee ID Advanced Reputation Check
« on: January 02, 2014, 10:27:53 pm »
I'm happy to announce the introduction and small preview to KIDARC, a fancy shortcut for the boring "Keyhotee ID Advanced Reputation Check" name.

KIDARC will function as an addition to Keyhotee's reputation to get user information in more detail to know who you're
dealing with and to make sure fraud get's punished by the community and the good people get rewarded. It will (hopefully) also be
helping Keyhotee to get more activity going, meet new people and gain more attention.

Some of it's key features are:

  • Only accessible with a valid Keyhotee Auth
  • A case-based dispute solving mechanism including judges and jury
  • Comment, vote on members
  • Profile pages
  • Send gifts to friends to increase reputation
  • A marketplace
  • A job board
  • Forums
  • Community based escrow service
  • See recent activity of members
  • Send messages, funds and send friend requests directly (These actions will open Keyhotee which handles the rest)
  • All notifications from KIDARC will be sent directly to your Keyhotee inbox (We will completely abandon regular mails)
  • An own credit-based currency called ARC's to buy gifts for friends and extra features. Please do note that
without ARC's you won't miss anything, it will only be used for special features like buying gifts, promoting your ads etc
    to keep funding the platform
  • Keyhotee is all about privacy and so are we. We will never acquire any IP addresses, use HTTPS nor do we keep server logs and when Keyhotee
will feature it's own browser it will be even better. And you will be able to set a few options such as your country, your friend lists etc
but all these features can be turned on or off.

Progress is being made fast and we do expect a fully functional beta for Keyhotee founders within 2 weeks from today. Of course
it also depends on Keyhotee's timeline but we will make sure to be ready when it launches to the general public.

Keyhotee founders will get a special treatment including a special badge with your name and will be given priority to
being a case judge and/ or escrow service provider to make some hard earned cash.

Founders who want to be added please send me an email at godscreation_rys@hotmail.com with your Keyhotee Id (Yes, I
will validate it ;) and you can be sure to be among the first one joining.

Donations are  very much welcomed to speed up the development, it's a personal project next to my daytime work and I have zero funding. All donators will also receive a special badge and your donation amount will be converted 1:1 to ARC's when the platform launches based
on the PTS > USD price at the end of each day (GMT time) . (100 ARC's = 1 USD) . If you donated please send me an email
with the transaction id.

PTS donations: Pu7DUgfVPHXWzD8hbaRzSrMTQq6LBXF8NM

We really want to be THE Keyhotee community platform and will do everything we can to make it fun and useful for
every Keyhotee'er involved. I will keep you all updated on development progress in this thread.

[edit]Preparing for a new preview with new addition including fully working marketplace, voting system and job board[/edit]

If you have any questions, ideas or complaints please do let me know.

Thank you for your time and let's all do our part to make Keyhotee rock the world!

Kind regards,
Mark

ps: I suck at 'press releases'

Also Please note that although we keep in close contact with 3I for feature integration this platform is developed independently.

Keyhotee / Re: Redeeming Keyhotee ID & Angel Shares for Keyhotee Founders
« on: December 30, 2013, 11:38:40 pm »
Well it's just a matter of personal taste, a founder id is a name you'd really wish to have before someone else, wether it be a nickname or your real name. And of course a family name or millions of other names can be mined out easily afterwards before the big crowd comes.

Keyhotee / Re: Screen Shot

About the year of birth input field. Personally I prefer to see the full year when I am entering this information, so instead of 65, I could choose 1965. Does anyone disagree? It would just have "smoothened" my first Keyhotee GUI impression, so I am bringing it up.

Yeah that's more intuitive

General Discussion / Re: An open proposal to the community and Brian/Dan
« on: December 28, 2013, 12:40:59 am »
We're working on exactly that this moment, a community based on voting and case-based system for Keyhotee members. A preview will be live the first week of January for Keyhotee founders. Please note this is an external (unofficial) service and whenever functionality become available in Keyhotee we'll cancel them from our platform. The platform will be much more then that and I will create a separate thread for it one of these days. Cheers

Marketplace / Re: Bounty Specification Discussion

Marketplace / Re: Bounty Specification Discussion
« on: December 27, 2013, 02:31:07 pm »
I think there should be a sub forum for these things and an 'official' people pool has to be created from which you can pick a 'worker' (sorry too much mining lately).

Then a small but difficult assessment (programming/design/economics/marketing) can be given which should be completed in 2 hours after going public. You can then review these to add a temporary rating to everyone and pick these people based on this ranking. Of course when someone f*cks up or doesn't have the time the 2nd in line gets the job.

Then after a while add a second assessment so people who had lower scores the first round get a chance to redeem themselves.  everyone can just add to their forum status message : AFW (Available for Work)/Programming  so you can quickly see who's up for it.

General Discussion / Re: Help build the DAC wiki

Yeah especially the technical aspects, but I guess nothing is set in stone right now so maybe these details will come at a later point in time. Anyways a good job and I keep following the wiki

Looking good, I hope you keep expanding it. I guess a nice addition (speaking for myself) would be to explain how to setup a DAC in a real world scenario. Maybe you can just call it company x for demo purposes. Keep up the good work!
