« on: December 25, 2013, 12:42:54 am »
Well the title says it all, I'm glad I stumbled upon this great community and I wish everyone happy holidays and an awesome 2014! I've never seen so many groundbreaking ideas coming from one community and I think if everyone contributes to these ideas in any possible way this thing is gonna hit big next year. Cheers and drink responsibly  8)

Offer them 1 PTS for the names. Then laugh.

They want 5000 PTS...

I actually laughed out loud at this... Don't give them anything...

They have reduced their request to 2500 PTS.

They still live in the pre-internet-bubble era :p

Keyhotee / Re: Better pick up the pace, we got competition.

I've been following this project for a while, and it's definitely closely related:

http://retroshare.sourceforge.net/

Hopefully Keyhotee will eventually have distributed forums, or even a fully distributed social network to rival Facebook...

Retroshare is a nice piece of software indeed but it's main focus lies in messaging and that's just a small part of Keyhotee's features.

In case you'd like someone to help you with "press releases" and handling relations with journalists - Am glad to help.
Am not good in writing -but am good in handling relationships and if me or my associates can step in and help we'd be glad. My partner is a member of 2 major accelerators (one in london and one in Hong Kong) and I am well associated with one in India.  We'd be glad to help in whatever ways possible.

I feel a small round of PR round-up will have our value soaring , more early adapters.
I feel having more adapters would also be good as it can push us to faster bug fixes.

Am just disappointed I haven't seen anything major so far and with the value of BTC hitting a rock bottom (considering the rate at which its going) - I fear the trust people have in PTS could also diminish.

I will have Brian contact you.

His personality is far too abrasive to contribute effectively in marketing in my opinion.

I agree, I guess we're all in this together and we should not point fingers at people who are involved and doing everything they can 24/7. Development takes time and it's no use to start worldwide promotions without having a solid product which is released into the market.  These things will backfire on you because if the first impression is bad you have to double your marketing budget to convince people to have a second look.

Keyhotee / Keyhotee ID authentication
« on: December 20, 2013, 09:00:36 pm »
Is there any word on how authentication of users based on their Keyhotee ID would go? I'm planning on building a couple of services were users can sign in only with their Keyhotee ID. It would be great if there's an authentication api available at launch and if not I'm happy to write one which can be easily accessed by others. I understand the general authentication concepts that a browser plugin authenticates with the server , but I'm not quite sure how this translates in real life and when to expect this feature.

Thank you for the feedback Number1, I've also added a GUI design to go with these, something like this (very very early version missing a lot of 'real life' features)  :D Note that this is just my version, not the official one which might look way different.

Here's my bid: 11 PTS for being Santa!!

[edit]Nevermind , i didn't let my PTS buy deal work out since the sellers declined escrow. My bid is still standing however and I will remove the strikethrough hopefully tomorrow again when I'm sure the balance is added :P . I will then also submit my bid on the 3I site[/edit]

The 10% rule seems a good thing and although it might force new DAC's into honoring Protoshares if done right it might add more value to the DAC since it's backed by a trusted community and might even turn into a 'quality seal'.

Only buying from respected forum members or with Escrow service. Price fixed until December 18th then I'll reconsider the bid. Thanks
