Great job !

TheDailyDecrypt should consider a BitShares worker as a source of income as well. Due to the decentralized governance around here no one is in charge, but i'm sure you would be voted in with decent compensation to help explain what's going on in the BitShares ecosystem. #hiredbytheblockchain :)

I guess I'm not the only one to be confused about what you are doing.
If you find some spare time, it would be cool to explain quickly what it is you are integrating in BitShares and maybe some plans you may have.
If you have a quick official news, I would be more than happy to translate it and add it to the news section of BitShares French ConneXion web site.

In anyway, good luck and welcome aboard.

I am not good at speaking english, reading and listening is ok but you would have hard times trying to understand me  :P
Anyway, I do my best to be at every hangout, will be there on Friday & Sunday.
Never hesitate to send me questions in PM, Synergy is the key  :D

I'm doing a little video tutorial on how to do Twitter + Zapier + Sharebits and start spreading your tokens.
Will post it here as soon as it's ready (before friday)  ;D

General Discussion / Re: UIA Fee? (SOLCERTS)
« on: March 09, 2016, 11:39:48 am »
DestBest,

Thanks for the reply! My pleasure

Yes the almost 23,000 SOLCERT fee is certainly waaay too high. I guess I am still a little confused as how to calculate bringing it down. I see CER option in the asset type.

So do I have to fund the pool?
If fee pool is empty, BitShares can't convert SOCERT to BTS to pay for fees. tldr: Yes

So that the blockchain charges me in BTS and not SOLCERTS?
Do you want trade/transaction in SOLCERT to charge fees as BTS instead of SOLCERT? Is that your question ? I don't know, will call the great xeroc

Or do I have to change the "Quote Asset Amount" compared to the "Base Asset Amount"?

Your current CER is        1 SOLCERT : 0.0001 BTS

CER should be a little greater than the price of your asset, else people will buy your asset in order to pay fees with it, emptying your fee pool.

Let's say price is 10 BTS/SOLCERT, you need to put your CER to      1 SOLCERT : 10.1 BTS

tldr: Yes

Let me know. Thanks!

Great idea  +5%

A lower-hanging fruit could be to have GetGems partner with Sharebits as they are already integrated with Telegram. Might be the first step on the way to get them to move on BitShares.

We lack a "Get listed on BitShares DEX" button on bitshares.org

You can count me in  +5%

As a millennial, I see more value in Tokenifing Communities of Gamers (ex: people following the same YouTuber/Server) than forum communities.
It's only my opinion but I think they would be a lower-hanging fruit for us.

@DestBest <---- You could head up the automation of twitter with the Sharebot?
Would be glad to help anyone here with this, just PM me  ;D

You need to adjust the Core Exchange Rate (CER) of your asset, 23380SOLCERT is way too much imho.

The CER is the rate at which SOLCERT are exchanged for BTS (in the fee pool) in order to pay the fees to the blockchain (in BTS) when you do a transfer or put up an order.

You need to keep your fee pool filled with BTS and you can withdraw SOLCERT (fees) from the fee pool.

We didn't reach the max number of action/month @ zapier (yet) so we are still under the *FREE* plan.

Don't forget you can automatically send your token to your new followers.
It greatly increase Engagement Rates + New follower often retweet your #sharebits gift, incentivizing their followers to follow you  :D

poloniex must be making tons of monies from the big pumps/trading.  Imagine this kind of trading done on the DEX.  The trading fees that bts is missing...

Until it gets hacked  :P it must have a pretty big target on its back atm

What is keeping poloniex from moving on BitShares ?

How far are we from being able to attract exchange with that kind of "target on the back" in our more secured environment ?
