Freebie / Re: Share Dropping via ShareBits
« on: December 01, 2015, 08:10:14 am »
Share dropping is now possible by depositing the amounts you would like to drop, and specifying what asset to drop on.
Great news !  8)

When you share drop, via sharebits, you're sending funds directly to the asset holders' BTS accounts.
If you sharedrop on ASSETX, does it work with the ASSETX currently in sharebits account ?
eg: I sharedrop on brownies.pts holders, does the brownies.pts in my sharebits account allow me to earn from this sharedrop ?

Very nice!  8)

Note: Shouldn't the market be bitusd:btc instead of btc:bitusd ?

General Discussion / Re: How to create my first UIA
« on: November 22, 2015, 12:23:47 am »
AFAIK

A) The fee will be paid in your UIA @ Core Exchange Rate (CER) by default.

ex:
CER= 0.1 BTS/MF-TZOCOIN
Fee= 40 BTS
Fee paid= 400 MF-TZOCOIN

Quote
or even better I do not want any transfer fees when people transfer my coin between them. Is this possible?
No, but you can use ShareBits as there is no fee when tipping  ;)
#sharebits "mf-tzo" 1 BTSFCX

B) 3. Yes.
     4. Holders can propose tx, you must approve it for it to actually happen.
     5. Do you authorise your asset to be used in Stealth Transfer tx?

C) You can use sharebits to send transaction on social media like twitter, reddit, this forum, ... You pay tx fee on deposit/withdraw, no tx fee on tipping as said above.

D) See this: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,20146.0.html

E) You need to do this manually but you can suggest the idea of automating this to ShareBits  :)

F) You just need to go to this address: https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/MF-TZOCOIN_BTS  and put the first order.

G) To be able to pay fee in your UIA, the fee pool must be funded with BTS, funds from the fee pool are exchanged @ CER to pay the network in BTS. 50% of the fee paid when creating an asset goes into the fee pool so it doesn't start empty.

Good luck  :D

Looking good!

Perhaps you will find the "State of the Digital Asset Platform Industry Flowchart" from @carpet ride handy.
From his blog: http://certainassets.com

#btstip "sepehr"  1 HIGHFIVE
What is this? something to reward forum members or more?

Welcome to the future  8)

I don't know for the HIGHFIVE token but let me explain for some other tokens I know of:

BROWNIE.PTS is a token issued by Daniel Larimer (BM), this token offer you a part of the sharedrop from Identabit (Identity BC) and ShareBits (Social Tipping Bot). Dan publicly stated that he will give brownies to everyone that help grow our community.

BTSFCX is a token issued by us (BTS French ConneXion), this token value grow as people register new BTS account @ OpenLedger following our ref link (https://bitshares.openledger.info/?r=bitsharesfcx#/). We publicly stated that we will give BTSFCX to everyone that help grow the french community.

MEGUSTA is a token issued by fav, you can earn 1000 MEGUSTA for making a BitShares related "Me Gusta Image" see  https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,20167.0.html

You can withdraw your tokens to your BTS account @ http://btstip.io/

I'm trying to map Graphene Blockchains and what they can do.

1) What am I missing ? (lots of things)
2) What should I delete from the map ?
3) Which sector could be disrupted next ?

Thanks!
Very clear answers :D

Hey guys!
We just created our UIA, BTSFCX  :D
https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/asset/BTSFCX
Here are my questions:

We never funded the fee pool and yet the network pays tx fees in BTSFCX, where does the BTS come from when we pay tx fees with BTSFCX ?

How can we choose to pay tx fees with BTS by default ? Disabling "Charge Market Fee" ?
What is the "Pool Balance" ? Why does his value is 234 578 127 ?
What is "Unclaimed Issuer Income" ? Why does his value is 15 421 874 ?

I deposited 20.000 BTSFCX into BTSTip but my account shows a balance of 40.000 BTSFCX  ???

Great exposure for BitShares  :D

As the link to try OL in the article is: "https://bitshares.openledger.info/?r=live-trading-news"
I'm pretty sure they plan on getting some money from referral system but not sure if they understand they need to be LTM to start earning.
See: https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/account/live-trading-news/member-stats

If somebody here know them, better let them know quickly their referral link won't work if they don't upgrade the "live-trading-news" account to LTM.

Technical Support / Re: Firefox - Exit Wallet / clear database
« on: November 17, 2015, 04:20:29 am »
I setup a quick wallet to test on openledger and every time I open the site it loads the testing wallet automatically.  How can I completely clear firefox where I have to import the backup each time?  Should there be a button within the web wallet to completely clear the browser in case someone uses it on a public computer?
Try this: Go to Setting > Wallet Management Console > Delete Wallet  ;)

Is not the committee account the only allowed to issue a new bitAsset? (BitIRR)
True for MPA (Market Pegged Asset), not for Privatised Market Pegged Asset, they have an issuer as xeroc said

And, as a special promotion, new accounts created during the month of November will receive the token QBits as an incentive or welcome inducement.

Do you already know how many QBits will be given to each account?
