If anyone would like to put their hard earned Brownie.PTS to use, try out Beyond Bitcoin's new (and crude) Comment Tipper! (it's a work in progress)

We're trying out something new with the transcripts in hopes of promoting tipping with BitShares and increasing participating in the hangouts. This is pre-alpha stage (lulz) and we have no idea what we're doing, but we made a quick and easy way to tip BTS or Brownie.PTS to people who comment during a hangout ... technically, you can't tip them until the hangout has been transcribed. ;)

Give it a try here ... https://beyondbitcoin.org/bitshares-developer-hangout-with-bytemaster-july-10-2015/
ProTip: It helps if your BitShares client is already open.

If it catches on, we'll start spamming these things everywhere.  ;D

Want to make some better images? Have a better way to make this happen? Please let us know!

Be sure to read the bottom of the page for more information on how you can receive tips or have your comments removed from a transcript.

I seriously hope you are completely full of shit.

I wouldn't even know where to begin. That sounds completely irresponsible whether you have a multimillion dollar trust fund, you are a lottery winner, or whatever.

You obviously couldn't ride the waves of the market and you needed to quit so you could pay the bills. This makes me sad that some of you are so wrongfully invested in something so risky and unknown. I am really hoping that you are just an heir to the family fortune and piss away money like that regularly rather than spending actual earned money.  :(

Preach it!

Also, choose a topic Any Time and send a Silent Bid and a topic.  If you win with your brownie point bid, you get to talk about anything for 15 minutes after BM's hangout.  This is the perfect time to get to the heart of a passionate part of our community and give your message.
Could you explain what this is a bit more?
What's a silent bid?

I'm guessing he means private message fuzzy an amount and topic. if you "silently" (privately) bid higher than anyone else, you get to talk for 15 minutes about your topic.

General Discussion / Re: 36 100% delegates
« on: July 08, 2015, 10:27:32 pm »
Is everyone transparent?

I think Beyond Bitcoin deserves more delegates voted in. They supply more BitShares content to the public, free of charge, and search engines than all others combined by my estimate. The service they are providing with the various Hangouts and transcripts (thousands of words, many hours to complete) is invaluable to not only the BitShares community but all cryptocurrency communities, which in turn will bring more people into BitShares. I don't think their work can be any more transparent, since everyone can listen to or read all of their hard work free of charge daily on a public website.

I'm not even saying that all of those points are valid, but that has to be the view from the outside.

The market has absolutely no trust in BTS or its devs.
