Has there ever been a share drop by an outside entity on the BTS community? Or just needless circle jerking?

by an outside entity?  as soon as they sharedrop they are no longer "outside entities"...

to name a few of these "outside entities":
1) PLAY
2) MUSE
3) IDENTABITS
4) LOTTOSHARES (PT 1 AND PT 2)
5) SHAREBITS

As for target audiences...we have a GREAT one: Brownies.  in fact, while sharedropping on bts mostly means sharedropping on a few whales and centralized exchanges these days...brownies have been very solid target.  :)

*p.s. brownies was likely just the very beginning.

Ok...so I have BTS and brownie.pts. How can I claim what's already been share dropped?

Are you seriously mentioning Identabit!

Fuzzy - I appreciate your passion but come on man, try not to be so full of bullshit.

I also agree the UIA route first makes more sense. Also - I think it would make sense to target an altcoin that 1.) has a community we can talk to and 2.) has members who have been burnt by a centralized exchange.

Would Qora make sense?

Site down. Probably because "Rich BTS Holder" is an oxymoron.

You may want to wait until there are more GUI options to work with your UIA. I believe a patch is forthcoming that will address at least a few options.
Do you mean that Not all options available in GUI?
Yes, asset creation is incomplete in the GUI atm, I'm gonna work on upgrading it this week.

Thanks Tuck and svk,
I'm not a grandma! I can do low level actions also!
Let me know how to issue an asset and start announcing it?

Go to Dashboard > Click on your account > Click Assets > Create New Asset > Specify the symbol, description, supply and precision > Confirm the details > Pay 5,000 BTS
Or 500000 depending on the length  :P

Speaking of fees - if I'm a lifetime member and I create UIA, do I get 80% of that back too?

what is UIA stand for?

We don't have all that KYC and regulation stuff needed for a bank to work with us, but maybe CNX could benefit from this and at the same time give BitShares more exposure? It's worth a try right? Maybe FollowMyVote could help a little since they are working on ID related stuff? At least more people in the business will know our technology exists. You could mentioned you attended the Blockchain Summit at China and WebSummit in Dublin, i dont know, it might show them you're serious about what you want to achieve.

It's nor really about the $15k, but the exposure and potential contacts that could be developed. And in the chance we get lucky at todays price that's 4.5M BTS that could be saved in worker proposals to develop the UI, Prediction and Bond Markets or other features.

@Stan

plot twist, this was the bank Dan announced  :P

Does Identabit have a play here?

any reason for bts price rise today?

I rode some BTC up recently, then cashed it in and added 30% to my BTS holdings. Maybe it was me :-)

(It definitely was not me - small fish)

And it's another argument for decentralized exchanges and low reliance on each gateway.

Someone dumped a TON of LTC, bought BTC and withdrew from OKCoin. They disabled withdrawals and appears to be rolling back some trades.

Who is complaining in response to comments Ronny? Me or you?

1.) I asked you to answer the OP's original question.

2.) I pointed out that your response sounds contradictory to the summer announcement I linked to.

It's ok, though. You've made yourself clear.

Sorry, maybe I just feel a little stressed ight now with too much work, thanks

Understood. Good luck with it all. Thanks.
