is there a recording of this?

basically we need someone to invent sidechains.

The reserve pool should be used to create a supply of bitasset and then they should be put up for sale as a single large wall at no lower than feed price +10%
This is important for those wishing to close their bitasset debt obligations at a reasonable price.
If bitasset creators are not confident they will be able to exit their positions they are less likely to create bitassets which is bad for liquidity.
The committee will have to be trusted with value that is 300% than the assets created because of reserve requirements.
the proceeds of these sales should be returned to the reserve pool so it is less of a dilution and it stops the committee destroying the bitassets created.
I think this should be done with bitusd only first as a trial.

General Discussion / Welcome to TheDex.org
« on: January 08, 2016, 11:44:01 pm »
www.THEDEX.org

This is my domain for which I intend to build an exchange/gateway in the coming months. Currently it is just a quick mockup of how I would like it to look and the links at the top all link to openledger via my own affiliate links.
I want thedex.org to be familiar and simple for traders like myself and I don't see the need to explain the technicalities of bitshares or even mention bitshares.

I'm planning on forking the gui and making these changes:

- change the whole colour scheme and style so it is easily recognised as thedex.org
- limit the gui so the trade pairs only allow trading against my own UIABTC (this how other exchanges work and helps with liquidity)
- trade specific UIA tokens from other providers such as metaexchange and openledger
- trade UIAs only including DOLLARS and maybe YUAN (I own these UIA tokens already)
- Use uphold.com accounts as an easy simple gateway to and from fiat
- have the main site and gui as one page instead of 2 separate ones like openledger is doing now.

I previously set up the UK's largest network of bitcoin ATMs (12) and have since sold my half of the company and now run telebit.org
I have been involved with bitcoin from the early days co-founding the largest btc meetup (London)  and used to live with both Amir taaki and Vitalik Buterin aswell a recruiting the lead dev for ethereum.
I see bitshares as the future of all exchanges and have invested heavily in BTS and now want to build my own exchange. However I cannot code and am looking for a co-founder who can to work with me on this exchange.
I will be in prague and budapest over the next week but will be looking to get started on this when I am back. If you think you are on the same page as me when it comes to creating an exchange and can code please get in contact either on here or via telegram or twitter @JonnyBitcoin

PS
I also think these changes should be made to the main website   https://github.com/bitshares/bitshares.github.io/issues

The poll at the top of this thread shows people are broadly in favour of selling the bitasset trade fees that have been accumulated.

yet only @mindphlux  @dele-puppy and @BunkerChain Labs  have approved it:  http://cryptofresh.com/p/1.10.48

Could @baozi @bitcrab @bitcube  also approve this action please.
how many people found the amount in this proposol is not correct?

where can we see the collected trade fees on the gui or cryptofresh.com ?
you even don't know abou this, so how dare you encourage people to support this proposol?
I want ask you all again, is BTS just a play game or a serious business?

I understand market mechanics well, I'm a trader.  I can't code and I don't use the CLI client.
I understand what's being discussed and proposed.
I can see it now in both GUI and cryptofresh.   its called "Unclaimed issuer income" on the gui and just "unclaimed" on cryptofresh sorry I didn't see it before.
I still don't understand fully understand the procedure to access these funds.  Is it in a normal bts  account controlled by the committee through multisig or what? please explain where these funds are held and exactly how they could be accessed for sale.

How many metafees will be will be outstanding after the next burn. the website says 5109 but the blockchain says 7121

And do the total outstanding represent 50% of all profit made by metaexchange?

Funds can of course also be split up :)

A short 15 min script can also be written.
