Hi guys, I would like to build a property listing service on a website where a user can be let to post a listing once he/she pays with a token. Is that doable with bitshares? Can anybody help me with that?

@bitacer  Cool video indeed. I have much better understanding of what do you mean. Imo, this local money system could be easily brought to blockchain with a smart asset which replaces collateral with trust. UIA is sort of this type of asset, but the problem is that you can't borrow it. Here is how this could work.

A committee, which is elected by community, creates an asset. Let's call it community dollar (CD).  Every community member, i.e. white listed account, is able to issue CDs to existence by borrowing them up to certain limit, which is defined by community. No interest, no collateral. Then the member can buy goods and services for his CDs or sell them on exchange for other assets. When the member reaches his credit limit, he needs to repay debt by providing services to community or by buying CDs on the market. Credit limit can increase or decrease for each member according to the reputation rules defined by community.

Imo, purely trustless bitAssets and purely based on trust assets must have on blockchain. Both have plenty of applications.

Yes, the amazing evolution of this technology is unfolding in front of our eyes. Exciting times. I would like to see community currencies spread along with autobridging, pathfinfing or whatever they call it. Hi Ronny , this is not about ether or bitshares really and its not about a particular currency either. There is a growing trend around the world among communities to develop alternative means to accomplish exchange between members of society. In that respect right know the most prevailing idea is that exchange should start by giving, that is not the same as giving a token or digits. Doing something for a member of society and recording that so you will receive something back when you need. Scarcity is not a viable option in their system because scarcity takes individuals hostage. In this system the moment someone does something for someone his account status becames - minus until he recieves from another member of society. This model naturally creates islands of community currency systems . Like WIR, BrixtonPound  or timebanks.
