Initiate a great PR campaign , get a well known respectable charity to use the platform since its open and suitable for that purpose . Become the first to be used at a time of  a major earth quake or natural disaster or a refugee crises somewhere in the world,  most charities are tax exempt anyways. As a community set up funds for that purpose , offer little support to those who are in need,  advertise yourself as a platform where good deeds are achieved. Use major events as occasions ...

General Discussion / Re: Fees are a real problem for the DEX

The major problem -- which is actually in itself not a problem-- that the is not enough PR out there to explain bitshares, one of the reason seems to me is that everybody is still busy building and perfecting the product. Once that is eased a little , some resources should be allocated to advertising and displaying some real use cases. We all see what PR can achieve just as in DASH or some other products out there. None of them actually has what BitShares has.

This one for example : "Online-Konto in Offline-Konto umwandeln"  http://www.btswolf.com/german-section/bitshares/offline-konto/

that is a must for the layman , I would then  translate it to my language too. My bro speaks German but I am afraid he sucks when it comes to translating !  :)

This is on docs.bitshares.eu :

"AUTHORITIES
In BitShares an authority consists of one or many entities that authorize an action, such as transfers or trades.
An authority consists of one or several pairs of an account name with a weight.
In order to obtain a valid transaction, the sum of the weights from signing the parties has to exceed the threshold as defined in the permissions."

the other issue I am having is that I think I am mixing permissions with authorities. which is what ? who do we call authority and what do we call permission ? I know I ask too much , just want to know how it works.
