this happens when i try... if you want to send electrons the extra for the fee that would allow me to send it back.

I sent 3000BTS to electron-io over an hour ago with my BTC address in the memo field. Nothing has happened so far, I have not received any BTC.

looking into it right now

@kuro112 maybe I was thinking wrong about the withdrawal code. I was assuming it was a one use code. Is the withdrawal code reusable?  So I can create as many tip links as I want using one code each day?

yeah we made it reusable however we still intend to improve the ux slightly and make it obvious you only input it once

we have made many attempts to get ahold of them lately, no response so far.

1. GreenPoints are now only available at par from the issuer  (par is 1000 BTS/GreenPoint). All yearly bird discounts are gone, in other words.

2. The loan is most like a go!
This means if you get GreenPoints at par you get 10% premium on the loan rate (not that is so bad at 25%/year even without this premium, but still why leave money on the table?)

3. And probably most importantly, in the long run - GreenPoints are a potential share drop target. Not only they themselves are, but the accounts that held them before (this/first) loan is officially announced !!!
This simply means - if you buy GreenPoints now - you  get 10% better rate than the  25% annually on the loan [if you use them for that]  AND your make your account  a sharecrop target as if it held GreenPoints as of the share drop date.

ima buy some, good luck with your stuff tony :)

you really need a shared wallet for all services. I won't keep track of all my social media accounts

this is a really good idea, ill be sure to bring it up with the team.

General Discussion / Re: Transfer Fee Price Survey
« on: November 17, 2015, 07:13:01 am »
Regarding transfer only.

A) $0.20      (Too expensive)
B) $0.003    (Too cheap)
C) $0.10    (Getting expensive)
D) $0.02   (Good Value)

Making orders, my opinion is always "as low as but can prevent spam"

General Discussion / Re: biteur
« on: November 17, 2015, 07:12:02 am »
correct me if im wrong but i think its just selling your bts for biteur at a certain price right?

That's the problem, there's not enough bitEur in existence. It needs to be shorted I guess

funny story, im not the savy trader type!

can you explain how one shorts it into existence?

sounds interesting ^^
Read the whitepaper: http://docs.bitshares.eu

i have read most of it and i understand the majority of the technology, however im not sure that explains how you short a currency into existence? or if it does, what section?

General Discussion / Re: User issued asset price feed
« on: November 17, 2015, 07:02:30 am »
UIAs have no pricefeeds

compare it to sending BTC into Poloniex. They call it BTC, but you are actually trading internal UIAs from Poloniex. Till you are sending out, then you have BTC again.

It is the same system, but in bitshares the current available UIAs are called trade(Blocktrades), metaex(metaexchange) and openCOIN(openledger)

in the future more UIAs will join and you can hop between different exchanges instantly and if you dont like the counterparty risk go into pegged assets with a feedprice (counterparty free, pegged with collateral)

would be like instant transfer from bittrex into poloniex, because you see a great abitrage opportunity. over time this will hopefully evolve in bitshares.

man i personally cant wait to see this added, particularly the ability to instant transfer and arbitrage across exchanges from within bts... sounds sexy :)

looked into this platform, very promising, will probably add soon, thanks so much for the suggestion!

Ive been a supporter of peercoin from the begining, proof of stake has made users so much money compared to the mining method,

the only issue is that it has also led to tons of scam coins, and scam users...

we should take care to ensure this type of behavior does not come to bitshares, peercoin may be a good option though.
1) We here use *DELEGATED* Proof o Stake
2) Scams have happend with POW first :)
3) I don't get why you related scams to a consensus technology at all. It makes no sense to me

in this case, im referring more toward the userbase who may come over, most generic btc clones have a shady crowd who run with them,
im not sure about the benefits of DPOS vs POS but i can say that the people involved with POS coins tend to be a lot more shady.
