I spoke with Apasia.tech and they are preparing an official statement for this week. They will introduce their next plans for Bitshares.org website and how Apasia would like to improve the BitShares platform in general.

@Apasia please provide a roadmap for the website. What content do you want to host there? How can the BitShares community influence the content of that page? How will Apasia manage incoming e-mails and requests over the BitShares.org website?

Stan mentioned that many BitShares requests that landed with CNX could not be answered. I think it would make more sense to forward these requests to the BBF for future distribution.

Technical Support / Re: Help, I lost part of my BTWT amount
« on: February 18, 2018, 01:32:13 pm »
Hi Roberto,
welcome to BitShares. The BTWT are not lost, you rather paid small fee for your purchase. The BTWT is a UIA with a market fee of 0.2% per trade. You can find the information here http://cryptofresh.com/a/BTWTY . For example, if you buy 100 Token of an asset you pay 0.2% in fees and just get 99.80 Tokens.

Please also consider that BTWT has 5 Decimal points 5 (0.00001). So it could be that your remaining amount is to small and maybe not displayed in your wallet.

Try to buy a bit more the next time and see how it goes.

Cheers Chris

General Discussion / Re: [ANN] Payger - Payment + Messenger

Surely Blockpay tokens are being brought forwards to this new project? After all, blockpay's website redirects to the payger website. If not, eww.

You are right @customminer. Until further notice, the BlockPay token stay the same and belong to the project. We are making good progress with the Payger development and just hired two additional full-time developers for bug fixing and security testing. We are close to a feature freeze and launch of the first mvp in Q2 2018. More updates via our monthly newsletter and here in the forum.

Best regards,
Chris

These are great news for the BitShares platform! I am looking forward to use Bexi for Payger. I visited the Lykke office in Zurich myself in December 2017 to discuss on/off ramp services for BitAssets. Lykke is a great company with hundreds of active developers and with a very experient management team.

How can we help with the Bexi development?

Best regards,
Chris

Technical Support / Re: How bitshares voting works.
« on: February 18, 2018, 01:14:28 pm »
Once your witness node is up and running you need to register your bitshares account as witness account. After that, you can go in your wallet into the voting section, witness and search for your witness account. Once you got enough votes from the BitShares community you will receive funding from the Blockchain. The payout is 1 BTS per produced block.

Perfect work Fox and the rest of the team! I will vote for your worker.

voted. I am looking forward to the updated and improved documentation. Please separate marketing and technical speech in the new documentation. They do not belong together. I was sitting with my team for weeks to pull these two things apart in the current documentation.

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: Legal Council about BTS and No-action
« on: February 01, 2018, 08:00:49 am »
What will happen with the leftover funds for this worker? Is this worker in BTS or BitUSD?
I recommend you read through the proposal and the corresponding description of a "budget worker".

Thank you for the lead to http://www.bitshares.foundation/worker/ . It is good to see how the BitShares Foundation is handling the different worker models. I especially liked http://www.bitshares.foundation/accounting .

Thank you BitShares Blockchain Foundation for pushing this matter forward. I will vote for your worker.

Crypto4ever has a good point that a second law firm could be helpful to get a more defined result.

What will happen with the leftover funds for this worker? Is this worker in BTS or BitUSD?

I am voting for this worker proposal. The team did a great job in negotiating with Asian exchanges and successfully listed BitShares. Further, the team helped exchanges like Binance with their BTS training competition. Please keep us updated on your progress!

I voted for this project since I think we need more market maker activities on BitShares. I am especially interested to see market maker funds developed. If they are run by trusted people, people can loan their money to an mmf and earn a reward from the profits. We already see something similar with the crypto bridge coin.

Yes mmf are risiky, however, they can also give you a passive income.

I am looking forward to read more about the DEXbot progress.
