Stakeholder Proposals / Re: TOP 3 REASONS TO VOTE FOR A DELEGATE!
« on: August 30, 2015, 01:04:43 pm »
1. Support those Delegate who build new features you canĀ“t build yourself
2. Force Delegates to talk about their projects. Silence will get you fired
3. Use your Voting Power to make a difference

Hi all, please vote for Ken's delegate (delegate.kencode) and supoort his great work!

I can personally say, I work with him every day and Ken is currently networking with people from all over the world, famous people too, for the BTS Munich Expo.

He is also developing the BitShares POS and other Apps which will sell globally, and allow everyone to make a 99% affiliate bonus on every system you sell. This will be a major change for all of us. Ken has hired a few external coders to help him out too, I guess these are expensive too.

Unfortunately he is too busy  right now so you might not see him in the forum much. Since i work with him for  a while now i can say he is working hard behind the scenes, not less 12-16 hours every day for Bitshares, 7 days a week. Just skype him if you want to know more.

What ever happened here, we need to bring Ken back into the 101. He needs every support he gets so please vote for Ken's delegate.

Thank you.

How to ignite a Bitasset market?

I would like to know about Cryptonomics exp about how to start a BitAsset market. I already wrote a post about it here : https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,17609.msg224338.html#msg224338

I see limits in certain markets because there is nothing existing to be traded (BtsGold, HKD) . Does it needs delegates to burn bts , shorting bit assets into existence?

That would be a heavy lose business to start an asset...

Lookign forward to an answer :)

Technical Support / Re: How to ignite a Bitshares market?

thank you for the first feedback.

I know it is very expensive to do it right now. I played a bit around with shorting Turkish lira and HKD to see how it works. The results are zero.

I really wonder how users or asset delegates can start a dry market. Especially when there is nothing to buy? Like the Gold market. I was watching the gold asset for weeks without any sales position, because nobody wanted to sell and no gold was available.

What was the Bitusd exp? How did it started here?

Thanks in advance

Technical Support / How to ignite a Bitshares market?
« on: July 17, 2015, 10:50:18 pm »
Hi all,

I am looking at the Bitshares market for quite a while now and test several markets. I came to wonder about how to really start a market. Or even a user issued asset market.

If I want to start a marked paged market like BITHKD. I have to first buy BTS and then short the market with my BTS to bring BITHKD into existence. With more short orders, more BITHKD will be available to trade. Right?

How can we develop a new market, also a DAC (own coin) market without burning thousands of BTS with initial money losing shorts?

How did the USD market started? Any exp from the first traders?

I am looking forward to your ideas and opinions.

Thx
