General Discussion / UIA fees are paid in BTS
« on: May 11, 2015, 09:42:15 pm »
So we are talking about many changes with MPAs and UIAs

If it is the prefered way to create own UIAs for Gateways, why are the transaction fees are paid in BTS?

The Bunkershares project will issueing UIAs to a wider audience, so it could be possible that someone has no or not enough BTS on
their wallet to get the Bunkershares transfered. Will this be changed? Maybe the UIA owner can pay in advanced for the transfer with BTS?

General Discussion / We could do the same with BitShares
« on: April 30, 2015, 07:08:31 pm »
http://blog.sellfy.com/social-discounts-technique/

Why not make it like

pay 500 BTS to register an account or share it with your friends and get it for free? Or will it not work in the crypto space?

General Discussion / 3 wishes for BitShares
« on: April 06, 2015, 07:25:23 am »
I would like to post 3 wishes i have for BitShares and would like to hear yours.

Please don't post comments etc. on other threads and just posts your wishes and why you think this wish is needed:

Wish number:

1. The core devs should step up and give the community more guidence.
- at the moment i have the feeling, that noone knows what are the plans. This makes anyone uncertain. So i think more information (not exact names or dates) would be helpful.

2. We need a business developer
- we are lacking in many ways and this is a position who we need. It could be a team or a one man show. Maybe someone in the background is already doing it, but if so then make it public

3. We need a marketing "developer"
- we need someone or a team, who will coordinate and pull strings for us and has some funds to spend. Not the big bucks, but something to incentivice people to promote us.

Muse/SoundDAC / Official NOTE UIA post?
« on: March 29, 2015, 09:14:35 am »
Would be nice to get a official post of the NOTE issue on the BitShares Blockchain

- so far, i am not aware of a official statement what this UIA is and how it will be used

question:

1,274,224,569.80 NOTEs are created, but if i do the math right the maximum supply should be 1.500.000.000 NOTEs in the future or i am wrong?

I want to remember ALL delegates to publish pricefeeds.

In the last days the delegates on the 5 main bitAssets are down do 64/101

- i still think any delegate should publish pricefeeds, especially ALL core devs. Why are some core devs not publishing? In the past TOAST and others stated they want to code something on their own. I am fine with that, but not in 1 year! All of you had enough time, and it looks to me you have no time to do it, so just use an already existing feedscript.

maybe this is also a good time to discuss the feed idea at all. Do we really need them or can we come up with a better solution?

I would like to start to trading the most liquid Cryptocoins on the market like Litecoin, Dogecoin, Ripple etc.

With a bitLTC trading i would have a offer for the Litecoin community to get into BitShares, without loosing Litecoin opportunities.

But how do we start it? I didn't see anyone spending 500.000 BTS into creating a pegged Asset with LTC in short, but this will be needed to do it.

So, maybe some devs could answer as well or maybe it is already solved and i am not aware of it.

Hi guys,

I wanted to let you guys know that https://metaexchange.info is ready to help trusted community members with their crowdfunding efforts! We can offer to put your UIA up as an asset on the metaexchange network, to greatly simplify the process of accepting BTC as payment.

What's more, because of the unique design of metaexchange, you don't need to hand over the ownership of your UIA to us (so we can issue it), instead we can simply give you a metaexchange node to run on your own server! What this means is:

* Zero counterparty risk for you
* Accept BTC payment for your asset with ease
* Keep full ownership of your UIA, so you can still offer it on the internal bitshares exchange as well
* Have the option of making a profit from asset trading (if you enable buying back the asset)

Shoot me a PM if you'd like to discuss this in more detail!

Cheers, Paul.
