Haven't heard anything from you guys lately. Are youse working on some secret project?

we are closing shop https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,22580.0.html

the signature campaign is not running anymore. i will do the final payment in a couple of days.
Thanks for your support.

cheers.

From.where come the money.for.LIQUIDITY REWARDS FROM STEEM? From fees? How does this work fully? Inthe white paper is not clear for me..... What do you guys, traders think of it?

it is to complicated, so the chance for failing is high.

as far as i understand the are just "printing" enough collateral like Nubits.

here are the information for the final buyback https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,22580.0.html

20
So finally the time has come and ouer last buyback is now live!

https://bitshares.org/wallet/#/market/METAFEES_OPEN.BTC

We are pleased to announce a conversion rate of 36.78336827 METAFEES for each BTC!

This means from the original offer 50 METAFEES each BTC you got an increase of  35.931%. If you invested with BTS from the start with 1500 BTS each METAFEES you protected the value of your assets with your investement into the METAFEES pool and can now buy much more BTS back.

Paul and i thank you all for your trust and hopfully we can serve you in the future again.

The main reason why we are closing metaexchange.info is the lack of time from Paul, so we can not add more markets and more functions. We hoped it would get better, but it is not happening the next days, so it was better to "free" the funds from the investors.

The pool performed really well and the rise from ETH could compensate the massive fall of BTS and NXT, so the result is and was a really stable portfolio. The nice feature with a active transfering accounts is, that the marketmaking bot needed to balance our portfolio out and did in the long run a good job.

We had a couple of problems on the road to the final working version of the market making bot, but right now he is really doing a good job and would serve us in the future much better.

Please transfer the METAEX.XXX assets as soon as you can. After June we will close this gateway as well!

If you have any questions left, please use this forum. If you have still not processed transactions please use the Support Form on our website https://metaexchange.info/support

Thanks a lot again
Paul and Frank

BM can't easily and anonymously dump his premined Steem on OpenLedger without it becoming a big deal. Much better for him to get buyers going to Bittrex.

Ouch...

Assume for a moment that you were launching steem and trying to make it successful. Where would you direct people?

I Iove to help bts, but not at the expense of steem.  The truth is bts would create a higher barrier to entry for most people.

Is that my fault?  How can we lower the barrier to entry for bts?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

not everyone knows that this account belongs to bytemaster!

to answer your question.

why is using openledger more difficult then bittrex?

only because bittrex has the bigger user base.

in the past you wrote and spoke several times that you are in talks with projects to get them exclusivly on the bitshares exchange. You had the chance with your own project and didn't do it, so you should not expect that anyone understand this. It seems to me what you say and what you do are two different pair of shoes and in the meantime you sold most of your BTS.

Vitalik sold 25% of his ETHER so i ask you how much of your persoanl BTS stake is left right now?

To answer my own question, besides the vesting balance and some BTS i sold everything after the April 1 2016. I am really a fool that i did believe all the sweet talk. You divided the community.
Some people who could mine your STEEM and people who are not.

It is my fault, that you say and do different things?

i do not undestand where the demand for STEEM is coming from, when you don't need it to post. It is like right now in BitShares. The fees are low and the products who would increase the market cap (pegged assets) are not widly in use.

STEEM is maybe a good trade, because of the small amount of available shares, but i do not believe in more.
BitShares? At the moment with no "core" team in place with targets the market cap will not move and the userbase will not grow much.

Just as a reminder. Go to STEMMIT.com click on the left sidebar and click "buy steem" you will be not be redirected to Openledger but to Bittrex. So, the creator of BitShares is not linking and supporting his own plattform. Words can say everything, but you will see what the people really feel if you watch closly.

"don't throw more money into things that are not going well"

Throwing money into Steem is not required. The account is free! Create an account, make a post, upvote other good post, earn money. What could be simpler? In the time spent here complaining you could have earned back thousands and probably done so complaining on Steem about Steem or BitShares. I'm sure there are people who agree with you, but you're doing it here FOR FREE! That's nuts man. Do it and get paid to do it, possibly. I make no promises that bringing your same sour attitude will pay off on Steem, it's likely not to, but what did you lose? Nothing. But you could possibly make something and if nothing else you could upvote others post and make some money.

You guys are refusing to take free money from the guy you say cost you money. If you don't take advantage of that situation it's your own fault and you have no one to blame but yourselves.

thanks for your advice.

we can agree that you and me don't understand the position of each other. That is fine with me. My point is i will not use STEEM because i do not believe in this fake marketcap and my time is money. why should i spend time on steem when you need the approval of upvotes to earn money. I do not believe that STEEM tolerates other opinions, so i am biased. Cryptoworld is big enough, so i will miss this great opportunity, or maybe it is just a waste of time for you and everyone envolved, we will see. take care!

@Shentist any update please?

the conversion is over. we will post in the next days the needed update. as posted before, check the posts from the last buybacks here https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,20150.60.html to get a feeling in which direction the buyback of all METAFEES will happen.

to answer some question from you before

the buyback will all be done in BTC or in METAEX.BTC to be exactly. We converted all ETH, BTS, NXT into BTC and are holding now only BTC. We could
generate a good average sell price, but more in detail will follow.

keep away of  Steemit

That's horrible advice from my perspective. Anyone who feels stuck in BTS would have done themselves a favor by posting on Steemit.com early, but it's not too late! You still have another month to earn part of the $2 million given to posters and curators. I have done quite well myself and would highly recommend anyone here complaining about their BTS investment to give Steemit a try if for no other reason to make up some of your perceived or real losses.

If you feel bytemaster has somehow let you down, why would you not want to take some of the free money offered by Steem to make up for your claimed misfortunes?  It seems counterproductive to sit here complaining about your woes when you could have already made up any losses by simply making good post on Steemit or curating some good content and even better you could be accomplishing this off of the Steem platform you appear to despise so much for whatever reason.

If you blame someone for costing you money due to a decision or action on their part are you going to sit around moaning about it all day or would you rather go make that money back from them off of another project they created?

"I lost money from that guys last project so no way I'm going to go take some easy money off of his next one to make up for my losses!"

Seriously consider what you are saying here. It makes absolutely no sense. Dan's like, "Hey here's $2 million dollars for you!" and you guys/girls are like, "No way man, I'm not typing and posting links to earn back my money! I'd rather bitch all day and earn nothing!".

what i learnt in the past

"don't throw more money into things that are not going well"

and in this case i decided the source of the not well doing money is my affection to bitshares and to bytemaster. i will not spend time with a premined coin with fake marketvalue 3 times BTS. i will spend my time and money with other projects and people. i spend nearly 2.5 years with BitShares and this decision is
not going well.

so i "lost" money here, but bytemaster and team could life for 2.5 years with this money and choose to try a new project with out the early investors. The decision to leave us behind was not made from me.

how "steem" was created is so wrong i do not want to have a stake in it, so i will realocate my time to better projects.

General Discussion / Re: Does anyone has an opinion to Lisk?
« on: May 26, 2016, 07:52:17 pm »
they have a far better PR then BTS, so i think they have more potential. The incentives for the core team and for the investors are
the same, because the core team are holding a lot of LISK. It will be fun to see in the future.

For the start, i think they handled the problems with the DDOS good enough. I think every ICO will have to consider to get DDOSed for the
start, so some people can frontrunner the masses.

I am gonna try and get all the facts about lisk in this post :

3900 Participants
14.000 BTC (BTC increased in value so more than 6M USD)
1000 BTC in XCP (XCP recently tripled its price with 80% being held by Lisk)

4 Exchanges offered an IOU.
If Yobit is a scam, but wants to treat its customers right without going bankrupt, it will have to purchase all the
Lisk it promised. Same for Bloombit. Openledger is very trustworthy, but its volume was too small. In case they are not
scams and Yobits volume is real, it will validate the current price, as people will have more trust in it.

The last 4 days Bitcoin started recovering by 2% up and Ethereum started going down by 20%.
If only 0.1% of Bitcoins volume was made in order to by Lisk and about 10% of Ethereums as well, then more than
10M USD are waiting to buy Lisk. Also many more people might sell their altcoins or buy bitcoin, to buy Lisk soon.

Given the recent success of Ethereum that went above 1B$, whose price increased a lot and has to do with smart contracts,
I would expect Lisk to have gone up because of that as well. Also don't forget that Lisk is include by Microsoft's Azure.

About 83-90M Lisk will be available to be traded not 100M, as some of them were not included in the crowdfunding
but also some people haven't validated their passphrases.

The DAO, Waves, Mycelium and other minor crowdfunding campaigns might pose as competitors (at least 'moneywise'),
as they took money that could potentially go to Lisk. However, they might have also created a positive buzz.
That's because their campaign's started after Lisk's and it was because of Lisk's success that they managed
to get the much money.

Poloniex will be one of the first exchanges and that is very significant, as most coins that have gotten into Poloniex
recently like Decred and Voxel etc were pumped. If Chinese exchanges include lisk as well, then the price will go even higher.

The PR for Lisk has been pretty good. Even Andreas Antonopoulos tweeted about it. There was a recent PR article
that claimed that Lisk's market cap is 250M. The general sentiment is well above 0.5$/Lisk

Now here is a list of many successful crowdfunding campaigns and their initial launch
These values are just estimates of the value increase in the first few days/months
compared to the money earned before the launch.
Ether 3-4x
NXT 2000x
BTS 2-10x
NEM 60x
Omni 20x
Maid 1-4x
Digix 2-5x
Factom 1-30x
Obits 2x
Bitcryst 10x
Supernet 2-3x
Storj 1-5x
Safe Exchange 10-20x
Neucoin 2-3x
Augur 2-25x

From the current IOU prices, I can see that 0.9$ is a very possible price, plus minus 0.1$ (as a bottom).
Then we could be heading even higher from there. Then I would say the top would be 2.5$

thanks for your analyzes!

- the new ship was not for free, the investors gave up their promise to get 10% of everything, because the headbuilder argued he build the second ship on his own

if you think outside the box you will realize that you still can get at least 10% of everything... You have an "inside" information about the opportunity to create some posts on steemit and get rewarded on 4 July... 10% of STEEMS marketcap will "gifted" to all participants in about a Month (in Current valuation it is about $2M and it can certainly increase more) And nobody ask's you to invest any penny... You can just open free of charge a steemit account, make some posts (like you did here for free) and wait for some STEEM dollars... I ensure you it is worth your time.... There are already really strong indications about that...
I bet many of future steemit user's would love to be on our position and have so early the information's we "luckily" have right NOW... And don't expect the Larimer's to make an official post somewhere to promise you they will upvote many of your  post's because they ow you their existence in crypto world!!! That would be bad PR for steemit ... Don't forget that for the first time Graphene get recognition from many community’s outside BTS...
We must think outside the box... We must see it like a great OPPORTUNITY  ... like a "half" full glass of water !!!  If you are thirsty you should drink it ... and not complaining it is half empty  :)

i will not use this platform, because it is against my ethical believings, but thanks for the advice, i will not give more time to STEEM as needed.

@Stan

sorry, but did you read your own or bytemasters writings?

There are many problems we need to resolve as a community:

1) We don't want to compete with ourselves and divide our network effect.
-->this is the reason why we now do it and not before the original holders had shares in DNS, VOTE etc.
-->i always considered the merger a bad move you can look in the old posts of me, because i invested in AGS because i know i
will get a share of many projects. The merger erased this.

2) We don't want to confuse users with a million brands.
-->great same as above

3) We want to have 1 BitUSD for everything rather than many different BitUSDs
-->great 1 pegged USD is in BTS, but a "better version" is in Steem

4) We need to recognize those who have helped fund development after Feb 28th so they don't compete with us.
-->they will not compete anymore

5) I don't want to have divided loyalties... I cannot serve two masters.
-->this is the reason why bytemaster shouldn't forced anyone into this.

6) We need to provide for long term funding and growth.
--> good luck with steem

7) We need to resolve the consensus problem once and for all.
-->it is solved, because most of the VESTED balances are secured from trusted people
