1 worker left, all the supporters moving and saving their investment out of Bitshares. I think we should probably thank BM again, that now
the none deliution fraction is by far the biggest one.

if i wouldn't have a large stack of my investment in Bitshares i would just buy popcorn and watch this tragedy.

No this is just a bug, but one I thought had been fixed. Which version were you using?

Sent fra min MotoG3 via Tapatalk

i am using the onlinewallet on bitshares.org version BitShares 2.0.160330
OK that explains it then, that version doesn't include the fix. @valzav could you update it please?

thanks for the information

You people sure do love to FUD. There's nothing new here, so please stop making such a big deal out of it..

no, but is the same like BTS 1.0 and he worked behind the scenes on BTS 2.0

- this community did a merger to keep him and we lost in this process a DNS blockchain, Follow my Vote blockchain and we deluted BTS
- in BTS 2.0 we got stripped of the sharedrop and now

"i am moving on, because i am funding the development from private funds since...."

the "secret source" is now going into something new, and this community left behind. Really funny!

and i don't like to blame the "chinese community for not supporting workers" for it.

BitShares is in the hands of mere mortal entrepreneurs like you and me now.
And we are exactly what it needs at this point in time.

if you mean ME and YOU ... I am not excited  :-X

i think the market will see the benefit from it and we will rise tomorrow 20% - great :D  This ANN could not be done better. Finally a good
strategy to make the best out of it.

You could say it is like Napoleon leaving the battlefield before the end of the battle because all his great Generals will do the job as good as he could do,
so no need to stay and watch the endresult.

or i like this one

It's like the 12 children are coming home and find a note from their father "I learnt you all i have, from now you are on your own". The children are so thrilled, they
burst out of joy and sing a song the whole night.

This will be so awsome, i feel like a big rock is finally of my back. It's so great!

i tried to claim some of my vesting BTS but got the message "Missing authority"
with none BTS funds i could claim.

i assume there are to many keys in this vesting account.

There is not going to be a share drop.

The biggest benefit to this is that bitshares is no longer the guinea pig for cnx.

What I find absolutely hilarious is how earlier this year Dan said his new year's resolution was to become a "better leader for bitshares"... Quits 4 months later.

He didn't quit. He was fired by those voting against development workers.

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,21296.msg288383.html#msg288383

he never recieved payment from workers, because he never asked for it. i need to wait for the mumble session to be available to build my opinion on it.

68
Just curious what the community thinks about the current platform & ecosystem after BM's mumble.....

what does hi said? do i need to sell or buy?

69
As long as where ever it is placed has room for others as well then I say go for it!  +5%

There is already a place for all parties.  What we're talking about here is making the default Bitshares wallet prominently visible on the forum site.  It should be one of the first things people see when they visit, otherwise we're shooting ourselves in the foot.

the default wallet should not be openledger but the bitshares.org wallet. i want to know how many people are converting from the promoting of openledger and not just because they are the default on bitshares.org (they are right now) and then bitsharestalk.org as well. how do we measure how successful they are, if they get all the community exposure for free as well.  they are doing a good job, but they are promoting their own business and their own UIAs and not the bitAssets.

i assume in the future openledger are equal to bitshares in the perception of the people but legally they are not.

5:48 PM I think there’s a scammy algorithm on metaexchange that gradually increases the buy price as you continue to send to the same ETH address. I had to send to 2 accounts this morning and I saw it start at one price and move up with each transaction.
5:48
As is, the bid-ask spread starts at 10% which is terrible.
5:49
Since i don’t have a choice, I guess I have to take it. I only have 1 BTC left to send, so I’m only going to get scammed for another 5%

i don't get it! Does he claims he scams metaexchange?

No. He's saying that each time he sends the price gets worse - which is true because that's how the algorithm tries to balance the sides. It's not so much a scam than he doesn't understand bridge balancing.

so in a slack community i didn't know they are talking about metaexchange - nice :D

yeah, he don't get that we are balancing our portfolio so other people want to buy from us.

thanks, riverhead for the explanation.

I've tried it on chrome now as well as Cyanogenmod browser.

You've described it as "a very simple starter wallet for mainstream users". I think it will serve it's function very well. It's going to seem like magic to people once they've tried it to send bitcash!

When I first tried it I put my name as 'hadriantest', but my ID showed as 'hadriantest1' on what you might call the account screen. Then I tried it on a different browser (chrome) and entered my name as 'hadriantest' again. This time my ID was 'hadriantest2'. If this is to do with account names being already taken, perhaps there should be a prompt or message for the user. Also, I'm not sure why I wasn't allowed 'hadriantest', because it's not taken - do you automatically append a number?

More feedback to do with inconsistencies in the way the sending amount is displayed. A couple of examples showing input and resulting output:

1 -> $1
1. -> $1.00
1.0 -> $1
1.01 -> $1.01

Also:

1 -> $1
1. -> $1.00
1.0 -> $1
1.00 -> $1

probably because "hadriantest" is a premium name and costs the faucet a lot.

What about to put the collateral max at  3 times the "original" price?   (don't forget that the "original" price is probably overvalued)

PS  "Original" price = 0.0075 BTC http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lisk/

the original price should be around 5000 LISK per 1 Bitcoin i think my numbers are correct.

today, openledger announced the possibility to buy LISK before the official start on bitshares, so i think this effort is not needed anymore.

thanks for all members who are willing to give some funds for this.

cheers
shentist

74
this are some funds :D

0.005 will give LISK a market value of 210.000.000 USD so 1/3 of Ethereum. Personally i would say this is much to high, but we will see how the people will value the LISK.

1. If ronny doesn't want this auction on OPEN.LISK i will still create a new coin for it and will exchange it later manually in "real" LISK. Donwside is, that after the auction, the bidders are not on our platform. So i ronny or openledger is willing to take our word and collateral i think it would be best if he supports us on the OPEN.LISK pair (we would need to get some of this funds and openledger will get the LISK from us later)

2. How big should the collateral be?
- not to small and not to big. i am really tight with funds right now, so what about 5 time the original value? So, if i did the math correct for every 1LISK we need 0,0002 BTC in collateral or the every other bitshare asset as bitUSD etc. or OPEN or META assets as collateral. If you are not comfortable with the collateral ratio just cut some of your contribution.

3. we are still looking for trusted people in the community to hold the collateral. I like the idea that this should be people who didn't contributed Lisk at all.

The contributors right now are:

1. shentist : 2.000

2. onceuponatime: 1000

3. Pheonike: 500

4. llildur: 174

5. liondani: 600

6. tarantulaz 675

7. Erlich Bachman 2000
