Simple solution, get your backup ready and import it into
https://secure.freedomledger.com
Done. Got all your money 'back' :)

Well this looks to be the solution..thanks a lot

If I do what the link opend says I should do, will this influence my original account with OL in any way?

"Since this is your first account, a faucet will pay the registration fee for you" who is the "FAUCET"
sorry but I do not understand the term used in this regard

I wonder in worse case scenario, the OL web page goes down, for whatever reason
I assume I would not be able to get to my investments anymore
This would be like my Bank closes down and I am out of luck and money

Any helpful answer would be appreciated?

Technical Support / Re: vesting claim
« on: December 07, 2016, 01:25:18 pm »
Since nobody will answer this poor gentlemen, I'll try:  The fee you paid to withdraw from vesting is greater than the amount of vested withdrawn , that's why your BTS balance decreased.

See that Vesting balance withdraw is 294 BTS from https://cryptofresh.com/fees.

You can also see the raw transaction here:
https://cryptofresh.com/tx/9ce8c48679d584f856e76d5fabe73a5fd96f693f

You paid 293.52695 BTS to withdraw 42.01065 BTS.

 +5%

thanks a lot this helps..:) I guess I have to be a bit careful in the future, not a lot of money, but still wasted

Openledger / Re: Is Voting on Obits Policy Changes Resumed?
« on: October 05, 2016, 12:39:10 pm »
on the end it says

********login*** to what?
I try just it does not work

"every holders of OBITS will receive an incoming payment of 1 BTS, sent from account obits-voting. In the memo field, each recipient will find their personal voting login and password."

thank you, I am not sure but I have to say this, it can not get more complicated, first you have to ask where your PW &login are, then you have to find out where the memofield is hiding, after this, you can find your PW/UN but you cant copy - past it, so what logic does this make, to make me feel I am a slave of asking questions and than seek and find game and after all this I have to write down the findings and than I can use what I have finally found..it cant get more difficult to be honest, this I cal bureaucracy, make everything as difficult as possible and all of this for just a vote, why is it so difficult to post an simple guideline "HOW TO"
sorry my rant

That market isn't very active, you should look at the volume history to check whether a market is actually alive or not.

General Discussion / Re: BTS tranfer to poloniexwallet went wrong
« on: September 16, 2016, 12:35:11 pm »
You can send him 1 BTS and put message in memo field, but Chronos is right.

I was thinking precisely the same as Chronos, yes it was 5K BTS not dollar..I did actually a test transfer
to see how it work, first went wrong I guess

General Discussion / BTS tranfer to poloniexwallet went wrong
« on: September 15, 2016, 11:18:22 pm »
yesterday I ordered a transfer off 5000 BTS to poloniexwallet

but instead I made a typo and send it to  "polionexwallet"

I am aware that this transfer is final
Still I like to contact the owner of this account and ask
if he would send the 5K back to me

Anybody has an idea how I can go about it??

cheers

thank you very much

but what does UIA mean?

and does it matter to know..:)

UIA is User Issued Asset
On Bitshares platform you can issue your own token and sell it on Bitshares' Decentralized EXchange.
It is a perfect solution to share or distribute any kind of project among people.

thanks Hammurabi

Hi

I am not a Pro in the daily terms used in the digital currency world
also know as crypto

I am looking to find a Glossary, where all the terms and shortcuts are been explained or
written in its entirety

e.g. BTS = Bitshare etc etc

any hints

Openledger / withdraw currency from OpenLedger
« on: August 25, 2016, 02:52:07 pm »
Hi,
I am about to deposit some EUROs into my Openlegder account

Before I do this I like to know a few things

1)Can I withdraw cash, back to my Bank account

2)Can I transfer fiat currency to an foreign Bank Account

3) withdrawal to my bank account :  how long does it take on average

4) I hear OL will issue an Debit Card so one can buy stuff or withdraw cash at an ATM, will this option be available soon?

thanks
