Yes, I have invite only dinners and lunch meetings set up for all three days we're there, with the only purpose being to meet with key players in the industry. I'm currently in LA doing the same thing today (meeting with BitShares' attorney) and attending the LA Bitcoin Job Fair tomorrow to rub shoulders with the who's who of SoCal.   

That really is our core strategy at these events....to build relationships. Because that's where everything starts, with people doing business with people they like and know. 

Of course we'll also be getting Dan on stage, me and him doing countless interviews, tracking every single press person like a bloodhound, handing out free shirts (collective groan), collecting business cards, etc....etc....   

Should be fun!  B

Please join us at Paradise Garden Buffet on Monday Oct 6 from 12:30-2pm at the Flamingo Hotel, where the event is being held. Most of the team will be there including Dan, Stan, Brian and several of the core devs as well as many of our business partners.   

This will be a great time to come say hi, tell us we're awesome, tell us we're not so awesome, throw a pie in our face, whatever you like.  This is open to anyone so feel free to invite people, although we really hope this will be a time to connect with bitsharestalk forum members who we don't often get to see or maybe haven't met.

    great idea on this one. 

I can assure you all, it's moving forward.  We need to time this correctly with all the work the dev team is doing to fix bugs, iron out bitUSD, and update the GUI (a huge project in itself). Bytemaster asked us to pump the brakes a bit on it as this is going on...  The marketing side is also quite complex on the back end, but is nearing completion.  Please be patient, there's absolutely no reason me or any of us would want to delay it a day longer than necessary....    B
