Welcome Damelon  :D

Dan's article http://bytemaster.bitshares.org/article/2015/01/03/Cooperation-Amoung-Crypto-Projects/ suggests we not burn each other to the ground each time we encounter a perceived slight, and I agree with that. There're bigger fish to fry.

General Discussion / Re: Guys can we stop shitting on nubits
« on: January 17, 2015, 01:06:05 pm »
It makes you look desperate and threatened.

Dan's blog posts were intended to communicate structural problems he saw in nubits. Everyone else took it as a green light to start more or less slandering their project.

It is clear they don't have malicious intent. You might disagree about whether their stuff can work or not, heck you might even feel a moral obligation to protect investors, but the right answer is to calmly point out structural problems.

Here is a positive example:  http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/2smt81/proof_that_nubits_fractional_reserve_get_out_now/cnr0gke

Here is a negative example:  http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/2smt81/proof_that_nubits_fractional_reserve_get_out_now/cnr1z0g

I agree with Empirical on this one. Separate "entity" websites would be a great way to laser-focus on a particular customer set, without overloading them with the million different things BTS is trying to be. This will eventually become essential if we want to resonate with the masses.

BTS is the backend. Our frontends need some work.

This marketing delegate is ready, willing and able to get us out there and bring in clicks and conversions. He knows how to drive traffic.

He is going to need to start accumulating funds, like yesterday, to pay for strategic funnel placements. Please get him voted in right away. If you haven't yet cast your vote, please do it now.

He has been endorsed by lots of marketers and Devs in the thread above because of his enthusiasm and just gettin' right down to it (extremely active on Nullstreet as well).

General Discussion / Re: A New Perspective on NuBits [BLOG POST]

I couldn't resist one last blog post because I didn't want the "Ponzi Post" to be the last post for a while.  After discussions on this forum I have adopted a new view on NuBits that is much more friendly and will make a better top post and hopefully repair some damage the last post may have created.

In any event, I did get some coding done today and will do more tomorrow.

Your talent on coding and writing is stunning. We need both.

I have no such plans for the foreseeable future.

Why?

You obviously care a great deal. You have the ability to code and Bitshares has the need.

I am sure you have RL obligations but a I would argue that a arhag working at even quarter impulse is better then sitting at the dock.
