Oh .. I would actually focus on selling bitUSD and bitGOLD and let me realize on there own that they can also buy bitBTC .. AND get a yield on it too!

It's (IMHO) worth more when your costumers realize the potentials themselves instead of giving them a list of things they can do ..

Vitalik is great guy, I hope he gets many more awards.

It's been there a while actually, but they're pulling the data from Bitsharesblocks and so their data got out of sync when I changed the API last week. Toast and I contacted Gliss about it and he got it back up a few days ago.
I thought that Gliss was supposed to put BitUSD on the main page with Nubits. Any news on that?

Hi fuzzy,
I know eagle eye opinions and this are opinions of any mainstream business managers which sees everything as a war. That is why I was so happy to find bytemaster who had different approach to life and business. I am not knowledgable enough to understand every detail that Rune is talking about, but I keep hearing word like attack which goes against my life philosophy of cooperation and help. I thought that we are in this community trying to build new way of doing business and not follow old way of hostile acquisitions. Have you ever wondered why bytemaster is not commenting. My guess is that he knows in time we will get better and overtake our competitors fair and square without resorting to use of force. If our technology is better than bitcoin than let's people choose it without being forced to do it.
Aloha fuzzy  :)

litecoin and dogecoin (merge-mined) are the perfect target.

Attacking dogecoin almost seems like an even worse idea.  Who would want to attack such a nice community?  All they care about is tipping each other and making fun pictures of dogs.

Seriously, Bitshares should not be in the business of attacking other coins.  Even if it works.

We can win due to a superior product, there is no need to be the bad guys and launch attacks on other coins networks.
+5% Let us not be the one to initiate use of force. I thought that was what most of us agreed upon, but it looks like I was wrong.

What is motivation behind this? Greed? Fame?
I like one of bytemaster rules "Don't initiate use of force" and this looks to me like it. I like you Rune, but you are heading in a wrong direction with this plan.

At a min we need to make it easier to vote.  I don't view voter apathy as a bad thing in all cases. It is too hard to figure out how to vote. The thumbs up thumbs down would be great if it worked. I don't like the fact that I must select 101 different people in order for my vote to be counted. Why can I go through and thumb up a single delegate and the gui takes and votes my stake. Or I select 10 or 20 delegates with a check mark system and click vote stake and be done?
You don't have to pick up all 101 delegates in order for your vote to be counted. One delegate is minimum so your vote can be counted. System prefers if you vote for all 101 delegates, but that doesn't mean that you need to vote for all 101 delegate.

Maybe somebody bought BTC after seeing that very soon some shorts are expiring and wishes to sell BTC at profit to those shorts.

Think unity not division. If you can't see any division going on here in this thread then you haven't truly understood the danger of making ambiguous posts in the community.

I trust I3's technical skills and leadership in general, but not so much in PR and marketing. This doesn't help to strengthen my confidence.

I have the same feeling in this point with Thom.

It would be better if we can avoid ambiguous statements when we are trying to announce something important.

Ever think that accountants and lawyers demand I3 be careful about how much they say?   Ever think that one wrong word could cause more trouble than leaving it ambiguous?

I am sure they want to tell us everything clearly.

Hi I just used "wallet_check_sharedrop" in new client and numbers are huge.
Does anybody knows where decimal place should be? Thanks  :)

QUESTION: If PTS price plummeted as for all intents and purposes it is useless right now, why hasn't the BTSX price plummeted equally? If there was a merger then wouldn't both be useless and worthless now and only BTS(when it's released, based on your holdings of both PTS and BTSX, be useful and valuable?
There was no merger but share drop by BTSX.
PTS has plummeted as Invictus has withdrawn support and BTSX did not as Invictus will continue to develop it and support it under new name BitShares.
