I see that few people joined using my link. Thank you!

Please let me know if you have any questions.

I see that you have 7 posts on the topic of LTB coin, and 99 posts on the topic of MMC coin.

My question is: Do you have any interest in bitshares?

I was heavily involved in MMC DAC as you've noticed, and also in BitShares PTS. I did not post as much about PTS because I was doing mining instead of marketing.

My main problem with Bitshares is that I can't mine it. That's why I'm not involved as much as I was with MMC or PTS. This problem is what this whole topic is about. But I'm really interested in BitShares and I will be heavily involved once BitUSD and other derivatives are ready.

There is a an article on Let's Talk Bitcoin about how eBay, Microsoft and others build Proof of Participation platforms similar to LTBcoin http://letstalkbitcoin.com/blog/post/ebay-and-microsoft-eye-user-created-value-platforms-similar-to-ltb

That's cool.  Didn't think about the advertising side.  Does that mean the podcast will get bombarded with spam ads, and is any ad accepted?  Because if you start denying people ad space they want to pay for, I could see the price slowly tanking.

Adam has some simple rules what qualifies for an ad and what doesn't. The only noticable rule that I remember is that gambling ads are not allowed, but most normal things are ok.

What can you use LTBcoin for? I mean, if you buy it, what can you do with it? Is it the same as most other clone coins, you buy and pray it goes up. Or does it have a real use besides giving it away to people with clever comments (like reddit gold).

I can explain that. LTBcoin is the only way to buy advertising on #1 bitcoin podcast in the world Let's Talk Bitcoin. The more people join the platform the higher the value of advertising is, so theoretically the higher the value of LTBcoin.

But I guess most people here just need Bitshares, there is nothing wrong in selling LTBcoins and getting Bitshares.

Adam B Levin is the genious behind LTBcoin and Proof of Participation. You should really talk to him. This is his big experiment. Also, you can just try to sign up and see how well what Adam created works. I'm really impressed, but I myself didn't create it.

Luckybit, I feel like you're thinking in the right direction. But I don't think I can contribute much, I'm just a miner. I see profit and I run to it. At the moment I see a lot of profit in LTBcoin and Proof of Participation that's why I'm doing it. That's why I would like to share with the other people so they can get some of the profits too. But I'm not the guy who could create something as genious as LTBcoin.

I like how minebitshares.com says: Mine the unminable.

Basically this and my guide are trying to solve the same problem: how to mine the unminable. The difference is that LTBcoin mining is much more profitable at the moment. I'm mining both PoW and LTBcoin right now and profits I'm getting are not even close. LTBcoin is like 10-100x better.

Since we can't really mine Bitshares we need to mine something so we can buy more Bitshares. Recently I was shocked to realize that I’m getting the most profit from the coin that doesn’t even use a computer to mine. This is the coin of “Lets Talk Bitcoin” and you mine it through “Proof of participation”. Basically you just post in ltb forums, leave comments, argue with people, you do the same what you would on bitsharestalk, but you are getting paid for it in LTBcoins and you’re paid a lot.

Example:
2 weeks ago I’ve made maybe 10 posts in the forum (not even that much) and listened to podcast that counts as additional 5 forum posts. I was paid 15900 LTBcoins at the end of the week. I’ve sold them on the the exchange for 555 satoshi each = 0.088 BTC My next week's profits was 0.075 BTC This is insane! This is a way more then I'm getting from the regular mining.

Guide to mining:
Step 1. Create new account at http://letstalkbitcoin.com?ref=083d7a26 (I would appreciate if you would use my referral link)

Step 2. Create your LTBcoin address and link it to your account. Great step by step guide with pictures is here http://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/post/work-in-progress-dont-reply-yet?ref=083d7a26

Step 3. Start posting to forums in Community section, make comments on shows, just do normal stuff you would do on bitsharestalk, but do it here instead http://letstalkbitcoin.com/forum/board/all?ref=083d7a26

Step 4. Adam will pay you each Saturday, you sell here https://www.melotic.com/markets/ltbc-btc , you buy Bitshares

Important:
Since I've helped several new users I've noticed common mistakes new people are making. Please read this:
  • Don't just register under my link and expect coins. You need to complete both Step 1 and Step 2.
  • You're paid for each activity your do on Let'sTalkBitcoin. You will not get much coins unless you do what Step 3 says
  • The optimal strategy is to do 1-2 forum posts per day, but not all at once.

More info:

Why do I tell you this?
Once you realize how easy and profitable it is to mine LTBcoins I hope you can do me a small favor by creating account using my referal link. I’ll get some LTBcoins from your referral and you will get some insane profits from this new coin.

Also if you forgot to register through my link you can still do it. Please go to letstalkbitcoin site, click on your username in top right corener => Account Settings  => enter "belltown" in Referred By => Submit

I did some trading on that exchange. Didn't have any issues except the site is slow sometimes.

If you decide to sell on bter then sell on CNY market and convert CNY -> BTC http://bter.com/trade/mmc_cny CNY market has way higher daily volume, so you will not move the market that much.

Also don't sell all at once. Sell maybe 10-20% of what you have each day.

MemoryCoin / Re: Pool payouts with zero fees causing BTER deposit issues
« on: January 18, 2014, 01:51:50 am »
I don't think it's pools not adding transaction fee. Yesterday I've send 393 MMC to bter and included 0.001 MMC transaction fee. It took more then 12 hrs to appear on my account. The transaction had plenty of confirmations, but deposit still didn't show up on my account for a long time.

Most people have absolutely no issues with bter. So while you're resolving the problem with bter support you can just create a new account and trade MMC using the new account. Hopefully bter will help you with the old account issue, but it will probably take long, so use the new account for trading. Your chances are good that the new account will never ever have any issues.
