You'll want to restart the client OR clear your block database.

However, if your computer is slow, and the number is going up, then you're fine.

Freetrade,

Have you tested the stability of the thread increase?

My miner crashes more often on Windows Miners with 8 threads on four cores
It also crashes more often when running 6 threads on a six core processor.

MemoryCoin / Debian Linux Cloud/Server Miner Script
« on: December 23, 2013, 03:06:35 am »
Debian Linux Server/Cloud Miner Script

This is a Daemon Helper script that makes managing your MMC miner on Debian Linux seamless.

Use and test at your own risk.

I have been relentlessly working on this for a couple of days now + running it on my servers.

I've seen performance increases of 10-40% on most of my servers just by running this script.
Also, repairs and reinstallations are effortless.

It downloads and compiles the MMC Daemon from source using git.

Features:
  • Completely easy Installation
  • Easily Restart your Daemon
  • Easily clear Block DB
  • Rebuild from scratch for new versions or to start fresh
  • Get Daemon Information
  • Print Last debug lines
  • Watch Debug Information
  • Watch Daemon Statistics (fine tuned without daemon performance degradation)
  • Auto Restart Capability on crash (WIP)

Type this in console as root:
Code: [Select]
cd ~;rm mmc-beta.sh; wget https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/50880632/mmc-beta.sh;chmod +x mmc-beta.sh; ./mmc-beta.sh
Feel free to browse the code and make new suggestions.

They do not. Dual L5639 just have a ton of GHz (24 v-cores).

4x 4770k @ 5ghz  16.0

mainboard?

Eh, that must price inefficient for $ per H/m (fades)

---

Dual Xeon L5639 - "hashespermin" : 6.18893583 with version 85400

I have the same config with 2 x5639 getting only 4.5 h/m now... Where is the trick?

I have a custom script that prevents 'watch' from abusing resources.
the miner runs as an idle process on linux by default.

Does your RAM Bus speed make a difference in H/m?

My i5 2500k stock clock is running at 1.3 H/m. (idle process)
x2 Intel Xeon L5420 @ 1.22 H/m
ARM Samsung Exynos 4412 Prime @ 0.09 H/m

Go to "%APPDATA%/MemoryCoin/" and delete everything except wallet.dat

Restart the client and be patient for the blocks to load!
