Здесь http://aws.amazon.com/ec2/ можно арендовать мощную видеокарту. Тариф g2.2xlarge за $0.650 в час. Карта NVIDIA GRID GPU (Kepler GK104). Окупится ли она, не знаю. По моим грубым прикидкам нет. Кто ещё может прикинуть?

650Ti: 330-340 c/s at 1% CPU.
Macbook Pro with GT 650M: 200 c/s.
Tesla K20c: ~800c/s.

« on: January 08, 2014, 10:48:19 pm »Появился open source GPU (CUDA) майнер для ProtoShares: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=2114.0Что-то не пойму какая там производительность. В первом посте указано 800 c/s. У меня на процессоре майнер показывает 200 с/m. Автор ошибся? Наскольок оно быстрее CPU, в разы? на порядки?
Следите за новостями, компилируйте, пробуйте, делитесь результатами.
p.s. Автор ответил что производительность в с/m.

Checked on my gadget. Really inconvenient to scroll. Added a space between the graphs of what would have been to place the fingers. + Add link "hide/show graph".

Надо ещё не забыть отключить автоматический Windows Update, а то можно найти свой серер самостоятельно перезагрузившимся и не майнящим.

Пробjвал я майнить так, майнило дней 10. Намайнило совсем копейки. Что-то около 0.6 PTS.
