General Discussion / @CN-Vote
« on: February 10, 2020, 09:41:59 pm »
Could CN-Vote please explain why they are voting into committee accounts which are inactive for 12 months without a single comment like Evangelist ?He never participated in a single chat session.Never voted or approved anything.
So what is the purpose of voting him into Committee ?

Same goes for Liondani.
You see maybe one comment from him per week.
Never voted or approved anything.
So what is the goal to have him in committee ?

Also i would like to ask CN-Vote since they make their voting based on rational decissions and to make bitshares a better place why exectly received
liondani and terradac their votes for being witnesses of bitshares and people who really contribute a lot to bitshares like blckchnd ,deex etc are not voted  ?

Maybe someone can explain to me what i don't see what Paul and some others are doing for bitshares to have the privilege to be bitshares witnesses.

Am asking because some people claim these are favour votes which i denied to belive since cn-vote is only voting rational and for the good of bitshares, right ?

Hope you can enlighten me to these votings and what rational goals they have

as i always thought these positions are for real supporters and a privileg and not for people who dumped each and every BTS they owned.

Lot's of users which don't even bring liquidity to their main pairs ?

The result will be the same as biki

Spending $20k for mirrored offers which has no real volume.

What real daily volume do you expect to achieve on mxc for bitshares that would justify to spend $20k on promotion ?

A cost use Bill

As I've said, worst case, we're paying some money for promotion. Hard for me to tell whether it worth doing.

Worst case you are spending $20k to promote not our exchange.
Are there any other offers right now? Doing something is better than doing nothing.

That's a crap answer and a farce for everyone who voted for refund400k  or which worker have been closed because of refund400k.

What was the main argument ?Being ineffective ?

Biased info is less valuable.

A fact is, foreign people usually don't know Chinese market or business.

When people saying you have a poor Alexa rank, they don't know Alexa toolbar/plugin doesn't have a good market share in Chinese, so its rank is not that reliable. Comparison between 2 websites in China make some sense though.

An average Chinese traders may don't know coingecko, but may use feixiaohao.com daily.

Average Chinese people don't use Google, Facebook, Twitter, they have Baidu, Wechat, Weibo.

Etc.

Based on feixiaohao.com mxc can be compared to biki.
How much real volume has biki for bitshares ?
Something arround zero ?

On a side note has anybody seen the liquidity of bitcny on biki for which we paid a nice amount of money ?
https://www.biki.com/en_US/trade/BITCNY_USDT

Spending $20k for something like that ?

@abit mxc is more known than rightbtc because rightbtc wasn't created for chinese trader but from middle east.

Based on my research i'm not going to support it.

There are many red flags like domain was for sale 2 years ago.
https://flippa.com/9365713-mxc-io
Mainly wash trading and no real liquidity
Alexa showing that this website had just a month ago a rank under 900k which is very very bad.Right BTC had already 450k and we all know what bitshares is getting from rightbtc .
User experience based on feixiaohao.com very bad.
In my honest opinion this exchange brings completly no value to bitshares and thats why i won't vote for it.

Coingecko and compas also call this exchange a very bad exchange.

I can't justify $20k for a listing which will bring even less result than biki

Fully agree with alt.

I asked yesterday also committee if its possible to add a transaction fee (handling fee) for force settlements.

Personly i also belive this would stop a big amount of force settlements as it would create a gap between buy orders and settlement price.

Unable to show any working austrian econemy ?
Maybe because it's an unrealistic theory in a world with manipulated markets giving the opporunity of getting milked by manipulaters when knowing you do nothing against it ?
You think within austrian econemy there will be no groups trying to manipulate and dominate ?

Did you ever saw the "soziale Marktwitschaft" from germany in the 90's ?
The austrian econemy is nothing compared to it as it even was able to defend the public from manipulation abuse.
Unluckily it was destroyed by the US who milked after that the shit out of that fair econemy.

Bought cheap companies, fired people, reduced wages/cost,increased profitability on paper and sold it for a pop quickly with big profit creating mass unemployment and a low wage industry in the long run.
You think this would be diffrent with austrian econemy ?

Your descriptions of margin call should show what ?
That your margin call will get liquidated even without notification ?

You are comparing liquid markets with iliquid ones ?

Easy solution why haven't you liquidated the margin wall when it existed ?
You think these companies would wait (for a longer timeframe) either and push the diffrence as debt to the margin owner ?

What are you comparing ?

The social market economy, also called Rhine capitalism, is a socioeconomic model combining a free market capitalist economic system alongside social policies that establish both fair competition within the market and a welfare state. It is sometimes classified as a coordinated market economy.

Maybe you wanna tell me from what people are going to live once industry 4.0 have been fully implemented based on austrian econemy ?

Reward should be increased for USDT pairs and Ratio should be changed in favour of seller.

Bitfiat is looking for BTS or major assets
Currently we have bigger supply of bitfiat than demand for it on all bitfiats so getting bitfiats on market doesn't need to be rewarded so much.Instead we should focus to get as much as possible USDT against bitfiats as these will increase buy support of BTS on CEX without creating any sell walls.

My personal proposal

* [gateways].BTC / bitFiats,
  - daily reward 6000 BTS,
  - buyer:seller reward ratio 70:30,
  - target depth of each group 4 BTC,
  - minimum valid order size 0.001 BTC

* [gateways].ETH / bitFiats,
  - daily reward 3000 BTS,
  - buyer:seller reward ratio 70:30,
  - target depth of each group 200 ETH,
  - minimum valid order size 0.05 ETH

* [gateways].EOS / bitFiats,
  - daily reward 3000 BTS,
  - buyer:seller reward ratio 70:30,
  - target depth of each group 10,000 EOS,
  - minimum valid order size 2 EOS

* [gateways].USDT / bitFiats,
  - daily reward 8000 BTS,
  - buyer:seller reward ratio 70:30,
  - target depth of each group 50,000 USDT,
  - minimum valid order size 10 USDT

General Discussion / Re: BSIP reorganization?
« on: December 27, 2019, 10:02:51 pm »
What we need are BSIP's which will bring major assets to DEX willing to exchange against BTS or bitfiat mid-longterm .

Something like p2p lending or any other DeFi
or non ltm refferal program to bring new users with their funds.

The other BSIP's are cosmetic and improvments but no engine to bring major assets to Dex for BTS and bitfiat.

I asked to show me where i not supported to keep dev team like you claimed it.
Or where do i support the fee increase of OL.

You claimed it so i call it fudd till you point me where i not supported to keep the dev team or where i was supporting the increase of fee's.

About OL would OL have shady intentions they would have implemented KYC and you could have done nothing against it.
It's a diffrence if somebody is temp. struggling because of diffrent kind of things or if he has a clear intention to scam.

Also you called me on telegram dumb for having the opinion you are now publicly posting as your findings.

Wow. Not only does thule support the firing of majority of bitshares devs and bringing development to a halt but he now also seems to support openledger stealing the people of this communities funds. Wow.

Why are you fudding ?

Did i supported to fire dev team ?
Maybe you can point me where i ever not supported to keep dev team ?

Did i said anywhere i support the increase of fee's ?
I said it's no exit scam to which i stick.

You post a lot of fud in the past days.
Your conclusion now which you want to act so smart is something i said since day one and pointed even to you to look at schiessl statement.

Still it's clearly no exit scam.

Its like you're just ignoring the reason why I made this proposal to begin with. At the time, the core team had left the project, and there was doubt about what would happen in an emergency situation with no core team available to fix the problem. It was also intended to fix smaller bugs as well, but this was my chief concern. In the case of such an emergency, there could easily be no way for stakeholders to vote funds to fix the problem (e.g. the chain could be down). This proposal provided an insurance against such problems.

But, realistically speaking, if the current voters really don't want such insurance any more, I'm ok to return the funds. If you feel strongly on this issue, create an "opinion proposal" on whether the funds should be returned to the reserve pool. If it gets funded, I'm fine to return the funds and end this insurance policy.

fair deal
