Thanks for the answers. I take it that the answer for B) then is that there is no escrow? I'm not asking this to be annoying, I'm asking this considering the background and what would benefit the worker the most imo.

Here are more comments :)

1. The pro forma mentions costs and possible incomes. Can you please state clearly what the maximum budget required from the blockchain?
2. You talk about Keynote, does that mean BitShares will be able to present a Keynote at WCC?
3. You mention DEVCON that is supposed to be happening at the same time. What is the difference, and are there any details known?
4. Will you be seeking sponsors, and if so would that reduce the amount that will be taken from the blockchain similar to DevCon?

EDIT: Because it just popped in my head in the other marketing worker: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=28444.msg330767#msg330767

5. How will the invoicing happen? I would hate to see VAT appearing that is then being billed to the blockchain. Did you look into this by any chance already? If you are confident that will not be the case, disregard this  last question please.

Answers posted in OP as an update.

Side note - Yes on sponsors as well, in which case those funds would offset any cost to the blockchain.

The entire conference is Bitshares based - so a lot of speakers and keynotes will take place. We aim for this to be a very well rounded event for the entire Bitshares community.

Thanks for the answers, found them now. For 2 a follow up: Keynote I meant at the WCC main event, not at the BitShares pre-conference. Is that the keynote you were referencing?

How do you estimate the attendance for a Sunday and Monday considering that the main event is thereafter? I'm not familiar with american conference planning especially from employers side (people would miss the whole week).

Is this meant as a Hackathon sponsored by BitShares (aka we provide ideas and interesting topics and others code), or that we as BitShares participate in the Hackathon (aka we need 5 devs to go there and code)?

245
Who are the service providers in all cases you are looking to integrate?

来个年度总结?worker资金使用情况?有无剩余资金,如有,怎么处置?

Wouldn't that be a question to the multi-sig escrow? :)

+5% +5% +5%

" fiat currency direct purchase and sale of assets"

Same as MagicW doing BitCNY<--> RMB or for different currency like USD/EUR/GBP?
We will provide a perfect platform and interface, which will start from CNY in the early stage, and be added according to market demand in the future.

Will the deposit and withdrawal have any fees for that, or what is the mechanism? Will your super gateway, p2p lending or OTC module contain any fees? If so, will those fees benefit the community?

b) Is there a review process involved, and if so by whom?
Currently not but i would be happy to let it review by any committee member who would be willing to do the review

There is so much false information floating around over BitShares that review is a mandatory step that should be explicitly mentioned IMO. That was also confirmed again when I reviewed the Gokhshtein and AltCoinTrader report.

c) Can editors invoice for their work?

Not directly, the invoice will be from a company which has longterm contracts with editors for most news websites.
Making a direct deal with an editor would be more expensiv.

Sorry, my question was indirect. I would hate if suddenly there are VATs appearing on invoices that are then billed to the blockchain. That would be something to clarify beforehand, as it stands I'd rather have an escrow fee than 20% VAT. If you are confident that will not be the case, disregard this message.

d) I assume all invoices will be publicly available?

Invoice for seperate editors work will be shown to committee to not publish their custome rates in public

Please have committee confirm this responsibility publicly in here.

Thanks for the iniative!

Here are my comments:
A) Who is the responsible and organizing party for this worker?
B) Will there be a supervising party?
C) What is the budget breakdown that this worker is seeking from the blockchain?

252
Awesome initiative!

Here are my personal questions:
a) Do you already have article / content writers at hand?
b) Is there a review process involved, and if so by whom?
c) Can editors invoice for their work?
d) I assume all invoices will be publicly available?
e) How many articles will your worker produce?

Can you please provide a testnet witness to join latest development efforts and a public API node for reference UI?
I tried to start a testnet witness , but failed at 6690000-6700000 blocks.
And I tried again by a VPS with 100M bandwidth  12CPU 24G Memory ,after more than 8 hours , finally failed.

Valuable lessons learned from running on testnet. If that would happen on mainnet you also wouldn't just stop, would you? :)

This issues mainly cause by the big blocks ( 10000 continues blocks are big blocks ) because at that time execute a performance test on testnet .

On mainnet ,nodes handle blocks one by one , will not meet these problems.

I find that poor reasoning. Testnet participation is a must if you ask me.
