Change your keys
https://steemit.com/bitshares/@sschiessl/how-to-change-your-bitshares-keys-for-local-wallet-and-cloud-login

Then create a new local wallet with only those new keys using a BitShares UI that you trust

Please try creating a completely new and fresh local wallet and import the private keys that you need.

Please be aware that changing the local wallet password does not protect you if your keys were compromised. In such a case you need to manually switch the keys of your account

He is not talking about the transaction fees, but the market fees imposed on BitCNY and BitUSD through a committee proposal.

Of course. The benefit to others is that they can use that asset now to pay for transaction fees

The asset fee pool allows that users can use your asset to pay transaction fees.

When someone pays with your asset for the fee what happens internally is:
The asset gets converted into BTS with the core exchange rate, and then the fee is paid directly with BTS. But the user does not see that.

This proposal was at a time when discussion about buying bitshares.com for 250k USD was going on and the future of the bitshares.org domain was uncertain.

With that background 10k USD didn't not sound so bad.

Having an exchange with zero transaction could be just the matter of applying proper filters. Creating a new coin you can do with the Bitshares UI (or your own deployed ui).

Smart contracts not so easy, could you present the use case you want to cover? Maybe it is already possible

The faucet is deployed in a more robust way now, but that error seems to be hard to find the source of.

Anyways, you could of course host your own faucet (in python there is one called tapin), or depending on your use case directly create accounts if you have a LTM account.

You already asked several times and got several responses.

There won't be anyone else reading in this forum, please broaden your search or pick one of the ones that already reacted :)

Is this geo blocked or something? I can't access it.

552
You already have a thread open on that issue, please stick to it.

Anyways (probably what we asked you via email as well):

 - do you really require your own blockchain
 - or do you only want a frontend / website that does not show any of the existing assets of the BitShares blockchain?

Cheers,
 Stefan

No news yet.

The initial dexathon description is basically a perfect match for Bitshares. We just have to wait.

Bexi is used to list any asset that exists on the Bitshares Blockchain in another, external exchange.

If I understand correctly,  you want to run your own chain, but have it listed in BitShares?

First thing would be to setup your own testnet. When that works you move into your main chain. For the listing you would need a gateway, like blocktrades.
