That is correct, as mentioned in the guide : A long sentence that is easy for you to remember and hard for others to guess. If you add numbers, punctuation, phonetics and misspellings it’s even better!
Can you please put that numbers, punctuation, phonetics and misspellings are essential because otherwise it is very easy to bruteforce with a dictionary attack, some people have even gone as far as to load thousands of quote pages into bruteforcers that get all the famous quotes from books and movies.

Remember you need high levels of entropy, otherwise they will be cracked very quickly.

For example correcthorsebatterystaple has high levels of entropy, but can easily be cracked with a dictionary based attack. However h0Rs3tra131i3r2k is almost impossible to crack in a reasonable time frame.

Which algorithm do you use to decide who won?
Currently a simple httpget from random.org which gets a random number between 0 and 1000000, the percentage is calculated as a number and if it is equal to or below that number you win. If not I win.

random.org is extremely trendy.

You may want to figure out a different way to get random #'s.
Next week when I create the site it will become provably fair, and take into account many things to create the number. I will also add support for other currencies, what would you like to see. Are there any protoshares dice sites?

MemoryCoin / Re: what do I need to do to fix this for GPU MINING??

2GB.
some more needed????
Yes, however using Linux MAY resolve the issue in some cases as it has better memory allocation which is useful in devices with low amounts of RAM.

What GPU are you using?

Yes but it currently owes me around 1btc and others are having problems also. Its practises are currently a little shady to say the least.

exactly. 1 big pool destroys the decentralization idea.
I've been saying this since MMCPool.com, we cannot have one pool that has a huge advantage over the others

I'm Isaac, currently in 2nd/3rd place.

I've just created the first gambling service for memorycoin (see my signature) and I am planning an SPV wallet as well as other services. I would like to step up as CNO and help propel this coin into greatness, I believe that we need both infrastructure and services to succeeded. By infrastructure I mean software wallets, for both traditional computers and smartphones, this is what I'll be trying to develop.

« on: January 03, 2014, 09:54:17 am »
I created one account, still has 3 withdrawals processing after 1 week. No reply from support.

I then created a new one, put money in, sold and bought and withdrew both MMC and BTC very quickly.

Still got over 1btc caught in first account. And you can't cancel withdrawals

MemoryCoin / Re: voting uncertainties

When I have a balance of 10 MMC and send 1 satoshi to a voting address, all my funds will be moved to an exchange address.

To make my balance count for the vote, do I have to move them back? How does that work? That would be a pain to explain voters.

I've recieved 10-15 votes already for my candidatures but even after 24h it wont show up above the 10% Droop Quota.

Which block will set the winners?

Every 20th block recounts teh votes.
This means whoever has voted you has a very low balance, possibly one person voting multiple times.
This makes me think. I voted for donschoe and donschoe can send me MMC. This would strengthen his vote. In general, candidates could buy more votes by giving their voters MMC. Am I right so far?
Technically, but they could also send MMC to themselves and vote for themselves.

Personally I feel that Seans Outpost is an ideal cause, it currently accepts Bitcoin directly, has the attention of the mainstream media and is focusing on one specific cause.

What do you mean by infrastructure by the way, you weren't very clear but its really quite a simple job. MMC to exchange, exchange to charity.

4 hours of bets processed without any errors. I feel very confident when I say we are now working!
