General Discussion / Recent attack on crypto exchange
« on: April 24, 2014, 12:04:34 am »
Some exchanges have experienced being hacked lately. This is due to a rogue crypto currency known as DafuqCoin. It has allegedly embedded rootkit that can have access to servers and steal assets. Bitshare X must be very vigilant about bitassets. Before a crypto currency has to be included in an exchange, it must really be scrutinized otherwise, it will be out of business in a matter of minutes.

General Discussion / Should have been there...
« on: April 19, 2014, 12:02:38 pm »
Recent IPO of Maidsafe via Safecoin triggers a huge jump for Mastercoin . I am thinking lately, Bitshare should have been there. Still it is in its developing stage. Further enhancing the security of its software and being tested from network attacks. With the price of Mastercoin today it will soon reach its debut price @around $150. It will really make those early Mastercoin  investors happy and satisfied with their technology and investment. But who knows what Bitshare in store for its investors such as me. May be it will surpass the expectations Mastercoin is having right now. Just my own opinion, the opportunity was there but somehow bitshare wasn't there yet. It is such a waste to let the opportunity went by. But the bus must stop here. There is nothing else to do.  I will not think this anymore and just move on . There goes a saying... when God closes the door, He opens a window . :)

DAC PLAY / Bitshares PinBall
« on: April 19, 2014, 08:42:30 am »
I got an idea for bitshare gaming dac.  Maybe it will go a little something like this. Random balls generated by blockchain will be designated to each player. Once the game begins blockchain will generate targets with corresponding points and after  2 minutes of hits and misses winner will be determined via highest points accumulated by one of the designated ball .

General Discussion / Is pawnshop DAC possible?
« on: April 18, 2014, 02:38:19 am »
A pawnshop business model is like a bank. By generating its revenues via appraisals and values of the things one's pawned. Now the question is can it be a DAC?

General Discussion / Discrediting Potentials of Bitshare
« on: April 15, 2014, 09:55:47 pm »
Bitshare comes with value and service. Those are the function of a great network application. Fast, secure, efficient and decentralized are the characteristic we are longing for in a transaction over the Internet. An old man's saying ... a delicious apple is keep on getting stoned for it to drop from the tree. Stones were Airdropping and just recently faucets. Those ideas were being raised upon the desire of investors of Bitcoin would have stake at Bitshares even if it has no investment at all. They must have missed the Feb 28 snapshot. One thing I would emphasize ... wait for another bus. Get in line with investments. Never think that bitcoin holders have privileges due to its premium value. Stop making bitshare the target of rideon tactics. Because the bus has already left.

General Discussion / 8M or 4M BTS?
« on: April 14, 2014, 11:04:31 pm »
Sorry guys for missing this . But I want to know how much bitshare from the snapshot? Originally, it was 4 million shares. But as I saw the specs on the website, it is 8 million. What is the final number of shares for bitshare?

From the beginning of I3 DAC concept, investors like me easily got so much enthusiasm. I like the way where bitshare is right now. But lately due to bitshares relatively low popularity among crypto investors, Airdrop has been introduced by way of marketing. I say this a scheme of rideon tactics by people who heavily invested in Bitcoin with volatile nature and no service aside from trading. The snapshot itself is enough for bitshare to be valuable. and DACs are the cornerstone for marketing.

General Discussion / Snapshot is better than Airdrop
« on: April 14, 2014, 12:35:18 am »
Airdrop is a trending word for cryptocurrency world but Im not buying if it will make bitshare's value diminished. Some guys think for marketing purposes, bitshare may follow airdropping scheme and to let people know bitshare is as valuable as bitcoin. For all I know, bitshare is a whole lot valuable than bitcoin. I begin to suspect that investors who did not see the snapshot being valuable to bitshare as it today are trying to get bitshare with no investment at all. Airdropping is not the way to market bitshare.

39
It's simple logic. Bitshare has more valueble than any other crytocurrencies. That is the essence of the it being snapshot from PTS and BTC holders. Bytemaster has been thoroughly getting the blockchain ready. From Proof of Momentum to DPOS, so much procedures have been endured. And yet some guys think "airdropping" is a good way of marketing bitshare. The way I see it is Bitshare once it released, the value for it will be lessen because it has been distributed via airdropping. This is unacceptable for both PTS and AGS holders that have believed the own capability of bitshare. If airdropping has been pursued, bitcoin holders will simply have bitshares with no investment. Bitshare has its own shadow.

General Discussion / Releasing, Testing or Airdropping ?
« on: April 12, 2014, 02:44:22 am »
Indeed I understand the ides of March has passed, NO release of bitshares xt. Security was the main focus of developers. As an investor and at times an app developer, debugging such software is a pain in the neck and needs a lot of time. But diverting from the main objective via another proposal such as Airdropping is a bit concerning. It worries me instead of focusing bitshare products, I3 has shifted the focus on Airdropping, which to me will d evaluate bitshare. Ides of April is next week . Still no sign of release, fortunately there was /is progress report. Time is of the essence and value of the product is at stake. Focus on products .

General Discussion / Bitshare roughly estimated at $100
« on: March 20, 2014, 12:12:14 am »
I have noticed an ad here in the forum which anyone can buy bitshare. The website is www.buybitshares.com.  It seems that marketing is starting to roll. For the fact that it was priced at $100 /bitshare, it made investors have an idea of how their bitshare investments may take off once the bitshare X launches.  Feeling pretty enthusiastic myself upon learning this.  Go PTS . Go AGS . Finally go BITSHARE.  8)

Can we have a property registration DAC?  Is it feasible to develop and decentralize such process?

General Discussion / Is BitXFund Consider a DAC?
« on: March 06, 2014, 07:11:38 am »

Just read an article about Bitshares X being forked. Is this consider as a third party DAC?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=499211.0

 I hope it would honor I3's 10 % stake .

General Discussion / Flight / Airline Scheduling DAC
« on: February 28, 2014, 09:41:05 am »
Just came out of an idea of a flight /airline scheduling DAC. This will help people determine their respective flight schedules. Just upon purchasing the ticket, the schedule is associated with a FlightCoin or something that would introduce to a blockchain. Once the schedule has been confirmed by a passenger, the airline company will be able to pay the service fee(in cryptocurrency) and the DAC would issue an SMS info update info telling the passenger that he or she has a scheduled flight ahead.  It will be something to look forward to .
