Version 0.3.1 solved a lot of stability issues for many it seems. This is fantastic! 20/101 is only counting non init accounts so it's actually more like 20/90.

I recently send some BTSX to BTER and noticed that a number of accounts have been registered designed to catch typos. Such as:
bbtercom
bter
bter-com
bter-bts
bter-deposit

And a bunch of others. BE SURE TO FIND btercom AND ADD IT TO YOUR FAVORITES and then only send to what you pick from your list. A typo could be quite costly. It's possible BTER themselves created a bunch of accounts with common typos, if so that's awesome, but unless they respond and say so it could be a scammer.

I believe Adam is playing an important role. While some may take offense to his style he is asking the questions and implying (intentionally or not) characteristics and intend that others who are new or skeptical to I3 and the Bitshares project may also have. Rather than letting them fester he puts them out there for the community to address.

What Adam is thinking is very likely not unique but he puts it out there and gives the community a chance to respond in its own backyard. We can't say that for a lot of the detractors, skeptics, and opponents of Bitshares (not implying that Adam is one, but we all know they're out there).

General Discussion / BTSX Share Supply 10BB?

From the threads about BTSX being listed on the exchanges there was talk about the BTSX share supply going from 4MM to 2BB. Looking at the asset tab of Bitshares X I see that the Share Supply for BTSX is 10BB.

However the current share supply is indeed 2BB (minus about 50k burned).

Can someone help me understand what's going on there?

I just noticed that the topic ID for the Keyhotee bug thread was 1984. It struck me as pretty funny given the purpose of Keyhotee. Carry on....

BitShares PTS / GPU Mining and the market price of PTS

I've noticed a steady drop in PTS price, down to about $12.60 now. I wonder how much of this is due to the supply/demand curve getting changed by the appearance of GPU mining. It used to take me forever to mine even 0.2PTS with CPU's. However pointing my Scrypt rigs (~18MH) at pts.1gh.com I can make about 1.4PTS/block. Even with a string of crappy days the pool can find an average of about 5 blocks/day or for me that's about 7PTS/day.No wonder the price is dropping, the market is getting flooded. Once the diff catches up I suspect this will change but for now it's a bit of a gold rush.
