BitShares PTS / Re: Coyote Miner | PPS Mining Pool

THere are still 1000+ nodes connected to the old pool... *shakes head*....  I guess I will pay everyone there now.
We could use those nodes on the new pool! Why not give them 24 hours notice and then stop the old pool service?

I do not understand how can this be?
The award is reduced or what?

If you read back a few pages, you'll see his explanation in greater detail.
TL;DR - It's proportional.

2 PTS to 5 PTS payout is just looting from the small miners. After two and a half days I just reaching to 2 PTS but now with the current difficulty and next it will impossible to draw my coins. I am ready to give % to draw my coins.

It would be nice to see something more amenable to the smaller miner, even if it was manual every couple days.

It is back up!

Great! How did we do? Is this accurate?
Code: [Select]
pool_balance: 630.253  pool_mature: 630.253

Also, payout processing has already started. Since this is only a temporary solution there is no website, so while your balance/unconfirmed is updated there is no way to access your account stats or options.

Is that for ALL balances, or just those over the 5 PTS?

The pool has not found any blocks yet, it is a small pool.   Once you see pool_balance go to something non-0 then you will have estimated earnings.   If you would like to estimate what your earnings will be when we find the first block you ca calculate:

SHARES / POOL_SHARES  * BLOCK_REWARD

Ok, thanks. Sanity check before I configure more rigs.

I am just curious, I want to make sure I'm actually earning something but I can't seem to tell.

Where are the links and what are the current revision numbers? (And thanks for your continued progress)

2 huge botnets are getting 20 pts from the block

the crumbs are for community

i wonder when those fat guys will dump all their pts to pay for cloud/botnet

this is silly
Yeah, I have an odd feeling we are moving the deck chairs around on the Titanic.

Create the following 32bit DWORD and set it to 1:

 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ Microsoft\Windows\Windows Error Reporting\DontShowUI

That will stop the dialog and allow your loop'd batch file to work.

Brilliant, thank you sir!

162
pool has been restarted

How do you make it not pop up the dialog box saying it crashed?

163

I think its has to do when network connection is lost or pool is restarted... and yes its kinda pain, i got to keep monitoring my 10 machines to see if they are working or not every few hours =\

Hope that gets sorted out soon

Yeah and the part that is frustrating is that it does not just crash the script, it puts up a fricken dialog box in Windows saying the app crashed that you have to click. Makes it hard to restart the process automatically. At this point I'm thinking about splitting the threads between two pools. It sucks PTS has not evolved enough to have backup pools in a common client yet. ::)

The web front end is up, in the chat they said they suffered a hardware failure at hosting company, no ETA on recovery.  ???
